Earlier this year Royce Da 5’9″ teamed up with DJ Premier for their collaborative ‘PRhyme 2’ album and now the Detroit spitter opens his ‘Book of Ryan’ album and first solo venture since 2016’s ‘Layers’.
Representing real hip-hop, Royce calls on some true lyricists for features like Eminem, J. Cole, Logic, Fabolous, Jadakiss, amongst others. Production is handled by a combination of Boi-1da, Cool & Dre, AntMan Wonder, and DJ Khalil.
The album was rolled out with the keys singles “Caterpillar” featuring Eminem, “Boblo Boat” featuring J. Cole, and “Dumb” featuring Shady Records newest signee, Boogie from Compton.
