This year marks the 20th anniversary of Eminem’s debut album, ‘Infinite’. To celebrate the album,  a “Partners In Rhyme: The True Story of Infinite” documentary was released with archival footage and interviews of the process of the creation.

Detroit production duo, the Bass Brothers aka F.B.T., also released a remixed, remastered version of the LP. Instead of using samples to recreate some of the instrumentals, the Bass Brothers substituted with live instruments in studio.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Mark Bass talked about discovering Eminem saying, “It’s like any artist just starting out. If you ever listen to Michael Jackson before he was Michael Jackson or Prince, they were younger-sounding, but you can tell there’s something there. Obviously, the fans who will purchase this particular project will get it. They’ll understand why. When I hear Eminem from 20 years ago, I can hear Eminem today. I can hear the nuances in his tone, and his rhythm was insane, and this is him starting out as a kid. We recognized that there was something there that was special. Obviously the world ended up agreeing with what we were feeling.”

The remixed version of ‘Infinite’ wil be available digitally for the first time soon. In the meantime watch the documentary and listen to the remixed version of “Infinite.”

Michael Phelps has won a ton of gold medals in his Olympic swimming career. He showed on Spike’s “Lip-Sync Battle: All-Star Live” that he deserves a gold medal for his flawless attempt at rapping Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.”

Phelps didn’t seem to have sweaty palms, get choked up on stage or have vomit on his sweater in his B Rabbit rendition.

The hilarious clip even made Eminem chuckle and follow with a tweet that read “But wait until you see me swim.”

Will the real Slim Shady please stand up.
