Nipsey Hussle’s Philanthropy Record Will Be Entered Into Congressional Record [PEEP]

Nipsey Hussle’s name will go down in the record books.

Yesterday congresswoman Karen Bass, who is the representative of California’s 37th District that includes South L.A. announced plans to enter the late, great rapper’s humanitarian efforts into Congress’ permanent records.

“I will be heading to the House Floor next week to formally enter Nipsey Hussle’s contributions to South Los Angeles into the Congressional Record where it will be a part of United States history forever,” Bass tweeted yesterday.

Nipsey, who rightfully so had the nickname of “Neighbahood Nip” has been celebrated by many for his efforts in helping his Crenshaw District community. It was reported that he and Roc Nation had a meeting set with LAPD Chief Michel Moore and Police Commission President Steve Soboroff to discuss ways to prevent gang violence in the streets of L.A.

A petition, which almost holds 400,000 signatures was created by the Najee Ali Youth Foundation following his death to change the intersection of Crenshaw and Slauson to “Nipsey Hussle Way” to honor Nipsey.

  5. I’ve been browsing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.

  6. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try
to get the hang of it!

  7. I was recommended this web site by my cousin. I’m not sure whether this post is written by
him as no one else know such detailed about my trouble.
    You are wonderful! Thanks!

  8. Howdy would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m
having a tough time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs
and I’m looking for something completely unique.
P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
