Bay Area Artist Sneakk Explains How Tyga & YG-Assisted “Spray” Came Together, Def Jam Rap Camp & More [WATCH]

Bay Area crooner Sneakk checked in with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk to break downs how “Spray” came Together with Tyga & YG and shared his experience at Def Jam’s Rap Camp.

Hailing from the Bay Area, Sneakk shared that the “Spray” collab was a result of a long day of collabs at the camp where all new Def Jam artists get to come together to work with various producers and the Vallejo native eventually entered into a studio sessions with producer Rico Love and songwriter Houston, where Sneakk freestyled his verse.

With connections to the some of the Bay greats including E-40, Mac Dre, and of course hip hop legend 2Pac, Sneakk shared that he was mostly inspired by his Grandfather who was a church musician.

“My Grandpa did Gopsel music. That’s where my thought process comes from because I just want to just like talk to the people and like uplift people. So, that’s where the gospel part come in at. I love music, he continues. I just wanted to make something that everybody didn’t make. I wanted to be me.”
