REPORT: Kanye West May Resume Touring In Early 2018 [PEEP]

Screen Shot 2017-06-29 at 2.33.46 PM

Apparently Kanye has been happy not being in the spotlight and has regained his health. Last year due to health concerns he had to cancel the remainder of the “Saint Pablo Tour.” Ye could be heading back on tour as early as early 2018 with his health back in shape.

According to TMZ Live Nation is awaiting a green light from the rapper to begin planning for a 2018 tour. The jaunt would include a new set list, stage show, and production. By then perhaps we might have some new music from Ye, which he would perform. There is no set date as of now and it appears Kanye is looking to avoide deadlines because they stress him out.

When he cancelled the remainder of the “Saint Pablo Tour” last year he was suffering from sever anxiety, depression, paranoia, dehydration, exhaustion, and was even labeled 5150 by a doctor a one point. According to TMZ’s source, Kanye is now “focused, engaged, and has overcome the issues that landed him in the hospital last year.”

It was reported that Kanye was in Wyoming spending time at a mountaintop retreat, working on his next album and staying away from the spotlight. Over the weekend photos surfaced of him with family and he was all smiles.

Glad to hear he’s doing better. Let’s hope we get some new music soon.

New Music: Rick Ross – “Glory Of War” Feat. Anthony Hamilton [LISTEN]

rick-ros-glory-of-war-feat-anthony-hamilton

It’s been a good year for Rick Ross already and we’re only halfway through the year. In March he dropped his ‘Rather You Than Me’ album, which many have declared as one of the hottest releases this year. The Bawse isn’t slowing down as he delivers his new soulful single “Glory of War” featuring Anthony Hamilton.

“Glory of War” samples Jay-Z’s “Dead Presidents” off the classic ‘Reasonable Doubt’ album that turned 21-years-old this year.

It’s unclear where this single will land. It does hit the ears like an album single, but with Ross already dropping an album this year, I’m not sure how likely that is. Although we’ve seen Future and Gucci Mane already drop two albums in 2017. Back in 2014 Ross dropped both his ‘Mastermind’ and ‘Hood Billionaire’ albums, so the idea shouldn’t be farfetched.

ScHoolboy uses his verse to talk about the sacrifices he’s made to give his daughter a better life.  “Told my daughter that I love but I go / Rather go provide than be there and broke / Life or death, the paper bringing us hope,” raps Q.

For six years now Tyga aficionados have been waiting for the follow-up of his ‘Bitch I’m the Shit 2’. The 2011 mixtape included some of his biggest singles like “Make It Nasty,” “Bitch I’m The Shit,” and “The Motto” featuring Lil Wayne and Drake.

On his Instagram and Twitter accounts the G.O.O.D. Music rapper announced the follow-up will drop in July. Although he didn’t give an exact date, Tyga included an image of the cover art, which is him in a yellow Ducati suit, riding a Ducati 999 bike.

The motorcycle theme has been shown in the previous music video for “Eyes Closed.” This year he’s already dropped “Flossin,” “Act Ghetto,” “Playboy,” and “100s” featuring Chief Keef and A.E.

There’s no telling which of those singles will be on the project, but you can definitely expect a couple of them.

New Video: DJ Esco & Future – “Right Now” [WATCH]

future-right-now

Nearly a year after DJ Esco and Future dropped their collaborative ‘Project ET: Esco Terrestrial’, they unleash the music video for “Right Now.” The single which samples 2Pac’s “No More Pain,” is one of the standouts on the project.

In the black-and-white video directed by The Shootrr, Future and Esco link up with Drake, Big Sean, and Meek Mill. It’s kind of odd to see Drake and Meek in the same video, obviously they weren’t on the same set.

Future is currently completing his “Nobody Safe Tour” before embarking on “The Future HNDRXX Tour” in a few months. Watch the video below.

The “Young OG,” Fabolous links up with 2017 XXL Freshman of the Year, PnB Rock on the RubiRosa-produced “Stacks Up.” With PnB taking care of the hook and a verse with his smooth vocals, Fab comes through and drops some retro bars.

Kamaiyah Goes Off On Her XXL Freshman Freestyle [WATCH]

Screen-Shot-2017-06-27-at-19.48.20

Next up on XXL’s Freshman Freestyle series is the only female rapper to grace the cover, Kamaiyah. The Oakland product delivers pretty impressive rhymes, while staying true to her Bay Area flow. In all honesty I think this might be the best one so far.

With seven freestyles out, we await the remaining three from Animé, Kap G, and XXXtentaction. Expect those to drop in the next three days. While you wait watch Kamaiyah’s below.

New Video: Kendrick Lamar – “Element.” [WATCH]

kendrick-element

If Kendrick gonna drop a music video, he “gonna make it look sexy.” Dot gets into his “Element.” in the Jonas Lindstroem and the little homies co-directed video for the single off ‘Damn.’

Per usual the imagery is on point, as Kendrick shows different symbolic images, while silhouettes of himself appear throughout. The video shows a child aiming a revolver at a car passing by, another child playing with an insect, a group of men brawling, nuns dressed in all white, inmates behind bars, and more.

Staying true to the lyrics in the song, Kung-Fu Kenny is shown slapping a man, choking another, and viciously using a pool stick to beat another.

The “Element.” video follows “DNA.” and “Humble.,” which have already received the treatment. It is expected that the “Loyalty.” video featuring Rihanna will be next, after BTS photos have surfaced on the Internet.

New Music: Desiigner – “Liife” Feat. Gucci Mane [LISTEN]

IMG_7997

Since dropping “Panda,” Desiigner has been struggling to find another single with the same success. Even with “Timmy Turner” and “Outlet,” the G.O.O.D. Music rapper hasn’t been able to match the success and maintain people’s attention.

In hopes of finding his next big single, Desiigner teams up with Gucci Mane on “Liife.” Over the smooth, trappy production, both rappers show their chemistry and might just have a smasher in their hands.

GuWop praises Desiigner on the song and gives him a co-sign by rapping, ““Shoutout to Desiigner / He be killin’ shit / You gotta be a hater, you not feelin’ it / G.O.O.D. Music, but we make that hood music / And we ain’t gotta brag, ’cause we used to it.”

Listen to the single below.
