It’s been a long time coming but Wale is ready for ‘SHINE’. The MMG’s forthcoming album has been delayed several times over the past year and although he’s compensated for it, with a plethora of single releases, the album now has a release date, cover art, and a full official track listing.

The album is set to drop May 5th barring no further delay. The cover art shows his baby girl, Zyla holding a blue moon in the palm of her little hands with a florescent red and purple background. Wale tweeted the cover art along with a message that reads,“Thank you 4your patience.A lot has changed since last album .I pray that 5/5 is the second best day of my life.” The first of course being the birth of his baby girl.

The 14-track album will include some big collaborations with Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Major Lazer, G-Eazy, and others. The last track on the album is a collaboration between Phil Ade and his baby girl, Zyla Moon.

Pre-order for the album begins tomorrow. Fans who pre-order will automatically receive the singles “Running Back” featuring Lil Wayne, “Fashion Week” featuring G-Eazy, “My PYT,” and his Travis Scott-assisted “Fish N Grits”.

Folarian will kick off his “SHINE Tour” on the same day the album drops, May 5th, in support of the album. The tour will run through May 27th at the House of Blues in Boston, MA.
