After several years of delays and missed released dates, Jeremih has finally delivered his third studio album, Late Nights: The Album. I’ve waited for this project as I know many of you have and I’m really excited it’s arrived!
Jeremih released his Dj Mustard produced single “Don’t Tell Em” in 2014 and it was a major hit for him. We all thought he would follow up with an album but we didn’t even get a video for the single.
Jeremih has been outspoken in the past about his label and personal issues, all those contributed to the delay of his album. It’s not like he hasn’t been working though. For most of 2015 he was a supporting act on the biggest tour of the summer with J. Cole. Which made complete sense because Jeremih and Cole have a SMASH with “Planes”, which also featured on this “Late Nights” album.
Ok!! Let’s get to this album. Late Nights: The Album is everything you would expect from Jeremih. Really good R&B and the occasional turn up
joint here and there. This album is a vibe! You can play this in your car while you ride around with your shorty or if you’re checked in your feelings, LOL!
Let’s talk about some of my favorite joints off the album…
“Impatient” featuring the homie Ty Dolla Sign is a real smooth joint that both of them execute perfectly!
Now, Worthy featuring Jhene Aiko, that’s an automatic one for the ladies. Period!
This is the one everyone’s gonna snapchat every time it comes on in the car.
Other stand out songs from the album are “Remember Me” and “Giv No Fuks” featuring Migos.
The album is jam packed with features from Future, Juicy J, Big Sean, YG, and Chi Town’s own Twista. It’s a really good album to vibe to and that’s exactly what Jeremih needed to do with this Late Nights album. It’s worth a listen if you haven’t done so yet.
