A couple of awesome acts (see the lineup in the flyer above) are congregating at The Roxy to raise money for the Midnight Mission and to donate toys to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Tickets are $15 without a toy and $10 with a toy. We’re giving away a pair of tickets to the show and in case you’re the winner… you should bring a toy anyways!

I think I should win these tickets because no one ever expects me to be in LOVE with hip hop. I work hard and am a full time student at UCLA and listening to hip hop calms me down and helps me stay sane in all of the LA traffic.

I think I should win the tickets because I have been listening to Pac Div, Tiron & Ayomari, and Thurz for the past 5 years. I’ve become the biggest fan of all these performers and I look to them as role models. I make music as well and all of them have influenced what I do because I look up to the LA sound of hip hop. They are all the pioneers of the new West Coast Movement for hip hop. It’s all for a good cause as well. I hope I win the tickets!
