On the last night of the global gartnhieg I watched a toddler dancing during the worship and felt the delight of God. I think of how excited Jesus was regarding the fact that his Father had hidden the things of God from the wise and learned and revealed them to little children. No wonder he then exhorted us to come to him because he was meek and humble in heart. I want to grow in kingdom grace with child-like simplicity, and continue to learn the unforced rythyms of grace. I have failed in the past by raising the bar too high for those I was mentoring, who needed a deeper experience of God’s love and grace. Obviously I needed the same. Raising up sons and daughters to trust and receive Him with the simplicity of little children while pouring out their lives for others is a goal obtained only as I exemplify the same by His grace.
