It’s been an Amazing year @ Bubble Gum! We’ve had so many great memories, from J Cole poppin up and doing a surprise performance to legends like Mr. Choc rockin the turntables. This past Tuesday was our 1 yr. anniversary hosted by U-N-I. Thank you to everyone who showed us an unbelievable amount of support within the last year. Alot of great progression for not only the L.A. hip hop scene, but the culture in general. Thanks to every Dj who did a guest set, and every guest who chewed some of that hard ass bubble gum Roddy Rod brought every week. The vibe was always fun and the music was always timeless. Shout to the whole fam on accomplishing 1 year in L.A.! Thanks to Brian “I fell asleep at the office” Samson, Fuzzy “I’m in a meeting” Fantabulous, Judd “can someone bring a mixer?” Guevara, Boogie “is Brian Samson gonna show up today?” B, Roddy “always reliable” Rod, Sour “is Brian Samson gonna show up today?” Milk, and even myself, Justin “can someone bring me $5 so I can pay this valet dude?” Credible. We appreciate all of you, all the talent that handed us cd’s, thank you for letting us build with you. Thanks to all our industry fam for comin out every week. Thanks to Boogie for capturing all the flicks every week and Dj Side and Deelon for holdin us down w/ amazing sets while the rest of us ate Thai food next door.
One final shout out to that homeless man that would always break dance to sourMILK’s mixes and smell up the whole joint! Looking forward….. Cheers to another year of great memories!-@j_credible
