The official line up for the 2015 Governors Ball festival in NYC has been released! Drake, Lana Del Rey, The Black Keys, and more set to headline the event that will take place in early June. It will mark the fifth anniversary of the event, which will once again be located at Randall’s Island Park in NYC, with tickets for the festival now on sale on the Governors Ball website here.

Lana Del Rey – Young And Beautiful (Video)

In a single off the Jay-Z-excutive produced The Great Gatsby soundtrack, Lana Del Rey poses the question, “will you still love me when I’m not longer young and beautiful?” How can we say no when LDR shines (literally shines) with crystalized tear drops – a la Game but 10x classier – and diamond encrusted hoop earrings. Needless to say Lana, backed by a full orchestra, captures the essence of the ballad with just softly lit spotlight.

Young and Beautiful

Lana Del Rey has a knack for creating beautiful full tracks for television and movies and with the grandiose nature of Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby, Lana fits right in. Her contribution to the soundtrack goes by the title, “Young & Beautiful,” where LDR sings about love, beauty and an aging future. Lana shines on this single but then again this theme is her world.

Pre-order The Great Gatsby soundtrack on iTunes today. “Young & Beautiful” has two versions – the single version and an orchestral version (which is my fave). Enjoy the streams!

‘The Great Gatsby’ Trailer w/ new music by André 3000, Beyoncé, Lana Del Rey & Florence + The Machine (Video)

Andre 3000 & Beyoncé, Lana Del Rey and Florence + The Machine build up the atmosphere in the latest The Great Gatsby trailer which premiered at 6am PT this morning. After news broke that Beyonce and André 3000 were covering Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black,” the single is now available to be heard in the first third of the 2:44-minute trailer. Following the Winehouse cover “Back To Black” is a new Lana Del Rey song titled “Young and Beautiful” (my personal favorite in the trailer and coming out as a single on April 23). Florence + The Machine with “Over The Love” closes out the movie trailer.

Notice the grand ol’ music lineup listed at the end of the trailer?
