Go Behind The Scenes With Future In His “The Reign Of Future” Documentary [VIDEO]

Future has came a long way from a local Atlanta rapper to one of hip-hop’s biggest global stars. MTV teamed up with the modern day rock star for the “The Reign of Future” documentary, where they followed him behind the scenes on his ‘Purple Reign Tour.’

The 10-minute documentary features commentary from Future Hendrix, where he talks about everything from his image to his upbringing in the music industry and even his relationship with baby Future, his grandmother and other family members.

In the documentary you will also see the tour lifestyle, from going on stage to hitting strip clubs with bands and making it rain to hopping off the tour bus in different cities.

Watch Future’s MTV News interview below where he discusses his different nicknames and what they mean. Insightful material.

Future Drops Two New Songs [AUDIO]

future-green

Two new Future songs surfaced today, one of which is a old song from last year.

The first one “Paparazzi” was teased in the “Drinks On Us” visual in August of last year and was supposed to appear on his and Mike WiLL Made It’s joint mixtape, ‘Ape Shit.’

Future wasn’t too happy with “Paparazzi” leaking and expressed it on Twitter.

On the other track, “Guap On Me,” Future lets everyone how much money he has on him and how “bitch gon’ fuck for free.”

Future & DJ Esco – ‘Project E.T.’ [STREAM]

future-announces-project-e.t.

Future made noise on Twitter late last night when he hinted at a new mixtape.

However, nobody expected the FBG general to drop the tape less than 24 hours after teasing it on Twitter. It should come as no surprise as Future has always had a strong reputation for being a hard worker. This is the third tape he’s dropped this year along with ‘EVOL’ and ‘Purple Reign.’

‘Project E.T.: Esco Terrestrial’ mixtape is his offering to summer ’16. It has that natural trap feel with a handful of tracks that figure to light up the nightclubs all summer.

It comes loaded with features from Drake, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Lil’ Uzi Vert, Casey Veggies and more. Metro Boomin, DJ Mustard and Zaytoven also have production credits on the project.

DRAKE RELEASES VIEWS
It was almost two years since Drake announced the title of his fourth studio album ‘Views’, and on Friday he finally gave fans what they had been waiting for.

The highly anticipated album is laced with 20 songs that possess that Drake and 40 combination known to warrant plaques.

‘VIEWS’ boasts features from Rihanna, Future, Pimp C, PARTYNEXTDOOR, WizKid, Popcaan and dvsn.

Jay-Z and Kanye were supposed to also be on the album for their collab on “Pop Style,” but as Drizzy told Zane Lowe during his interview samples were not clear. No biggie for Drake whom accomplished something Kanye and Jay have never done — sell over half a million on the FIRST day. Guess Drake featuring Drake gets the job done.

My must-hear 6ix songs off the album are below in no particular order:
“Controlla”
“Childs Play”
“Redemption”
“Still Here”
“Faithful” feat. Pimp C & dvsn
“Too Good” feat. Rihanna

I wasn’t too impressed with the album at first, but after numerous plays I can see why this album figures to be the album of the summer. Let me know in the comments below what your favorite songs off ‘VIEWS’ are.

Purchase it HERE.

SUMMER SIXTEEN TOUR
When Drake and Future said they were “up to something” they weren’t kidding, they truly were “not just bluffing.”

The “Jumpman” duo announced Monday they are hitting the road this summer for their Summer Sixteen tour.

This is not the first time the two have been on tour together. Drake has taken Future on the road before for both his Jungle tour and Would You Like a Tour.

Since the tour was announced a number of dates have been added including an extra show in LA at the Staples Center and another one at MSG in New York, making NY the city with the most dates with four.

Tickets for the Summer Sixteen tour went on sale this Friday on Ticketmaster, and if you’re reading this it might be too late to get tickets for select cities. GOOD LUCK!

Check out ALL the dates below:

DESIIGNER’S “PANDA” TOPS CHARTS

Freshman rapper Desiigner is doing things the guy he gets compared to has never done, as his hit-single “Panda” reached No. 1 on Billboards Hot 100 charts.

With the No.1 single, Desiigner also became the first New York City rapper since Jay-Z to be on top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The 18-year-old rapper that is now signed to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint, announced he will be dropping a mixtape and an app in the coming weeks, be on the lookout.

N.W.A. REUNION AT COACHELLA
If you’ve been on earth the past two weeks you know Coachella weekend was in full effect from everyone talking about it…WE GET IT.

Ice Cube was one of the performers at the ‘chella and had one of the best performances along with former N.W.A. members he brought out: Dr. Dre, MC Ren and DJ Yella, as well as Kendrick Lamar to put the cherry on top.

It was really a sight to see as the supergroup performed classics like: “Straight Outta Compton,” “Dopeman,” and “Fuck The Police.”

MC Ren told Rolling Stone that the whole moment was great and “”We had fun. It felt like old times. It’s been a long, long stretch.”

If you were raised on hip-hop it was a historic thing to see. Hopefully, the group will bless more stages in the near future.
