After releasing a new song for his Netflix produced show, “The Get Down,” Nas joins forces with DJ Shadow, to contribute to the new season of HBO’s “Silicon Valley,” which will air tomorrow night. The song “Systematic” will be on the show’s soundtrack, expected to be released June 16th through Nas’ Mass Appeal Records.

The Bay Area homie, Nef The Pharaoh links up with Ty Dolla $ign for the provocative track “Back Out” produced by the Architekz. On the infectious track both Neffy and Ty drop sexual lyrics of how they plan to blow their lover’s “Back Out”.

Kendrick Lamar is making everyone say ‘DAMN.’ by scoring this year’s biggest debut on the Billboard 200 to date with a colossal 610,000 equivalent album units. The official numbers won’t officially be out till Monday, but the original projections have grown from 480,000-500,000.
When the numbers do hit, Kung-Fu Kenny will top Drake’s ‘More Life’, which set a high with 505,000 its first week and has dominated with record-breaking streams and other major accolades. That could change with K. Dot garnering more than half of his current sales from over 300-million streams.
This is Dot’s biggest, most-successful project to date even given all the success of his two last classics being the critically-acclaimed ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ and his freshman album, ‘good kid, m.A.A.d. city’, which will apparently also reach the charts at No. 28 with 14,000 units sold since the ‘DAMN.’.
Following the release of ‘DAMN.’, there was talk and speculation of a new album on the horizon but Kendrick but that to rest by tweeting, “KenFolk. ThankU 4 the desire of always anticipating new music of my own. None is coming. My work will be in out future TDE dates tho.”

Gucci Mane pays homage to the Coachella Music Festival by dropping a new song called “Coachella”. The 1017 boss is fresh off his dominating performance at weekend 1 of the Indio festival, so it’s only right he dropped a track to celebrate.
“Coachella” is co-produced by heavyweights, Murda Beatz and TM88. On the track you hear a snippet of GuWop’s set and get some cold bars with Gucci rapping, “Cold weather, just performed at Coachella / It’s a cold summer, so I’ma paint the Lam’ yella / Brr!”
Gucci is currently touring on his “TrapGod Tour” while getting ready to release his book, “The Autobiography of Gucci Mane”, working on his next album, and working on a independent film with Rick Ross.

To celebrate the national smoker’s holiday of 4/20, the homie, Eric Bellinger drops a new mixtape called ‘Cannabliss’.

Still fuming from his hot set at Coachella weekend 1, Travis Scott hits “The Ellen Show” to perform his smash-hit “goosebumps”. With Mike Dean backing him Travis went to work on his ‘Birds In the Trap Sing McKnight’ standout. At weekend 1 of Coachella Scott brought out Kendrick Lamar to perform the single with him.
At his stop in Portland, Oregon last night Scott brought out Drizzy to fittingly perform “Portland” off ‘More Life’ with him.

The Young Money “Big 3” hit London to shoot the video for “No Frauds”.
In the Benny Boom-directed video, Nicki shows off her superior royalty in exquisite wardrobe provided by Alexander McQueen, Philipp Plein, and Charbel Zoe. Barbz slays it with scenes on a throne, in a nightclub and London streets. Nicki also gets petty by putting Remy Ma’s former friend, Rashida “Rah” Ali in the video.
Drizzy and Wayne join her in the club with footage that showcases the Young Money reunion.
We can expect the video for “Regret In Your Tears” off Nicki’s “#3PackFromParis” in the coming days, as the DIVA previewed the Mert & Marcus-directed mini-movie on her social media accounts a few days ago. Stay tuned.

In short film fashion, Mac Miller drops the visuals for his single “Cinderella” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. The Bo Mirosseni-directed 12-minute clip, takes viewers to a club with a bunch of Cinderellas, where Mac and Ty perform for them.
“Cinderella” is off Mac’s ‘The Divine Feminine’ album. This past weekend Mac lit up the stage at Coachella and will return to Indio this coming weekend for week 2.

Skeme adds more hype to his upcoming project, ‘The Other Side’, by dropping the video to “Red Coupe” featuring Hustle Gang’s London Jae. The catchy single was premiered by Creddy and Sourmilk on the Power 106 #LIFTOFF show last week.
In the Be El Be-directed video Skeme shows off his red Bentley coupe as he rides around town with a model, while London rides a Sprinter van with a couple models of his own.
‘The Other Side’ doesn’t have a release date as of yet but is expected to drop soon. It will follow Skeme’s ‘Paranoia’ release that dropped last December.

24Hrs drops a new strip club anthem called “24Hr Strip Club” featuring Juicy J and produced by James Royo. On the Royo-produced track the Private Club singer shows off his vocal skills, while Juicy J drops ratchet raps.
Not sure if this track will be on an upcoming project or just a one-off. 24Hrs has been working with Ty Dolla $ign on a collaborative project called ’24Dollaz’, expected to be released later this year.
