HBO will exclusively present “The Defiant Ones”, a four-part documentary revolving around Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine and their inside world of success. The documentary is set to air next year and has already been describes as “an unquestionably bold film about the unlikely but ultimately unbreakable bond of trust and friendship between two street-smart men from different worlds who have shaped many of the most exciting and extreme moments in recent pop culture.”
The film will be directed by the famous Allen Hughes and will focus on Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s individual careers, as well as their triumphant partnership, including their work at Aftermath and at Beats Electronics, which they sold to Apple for $3billion. Being shot over the course of 3 years, the documentary will give watchers access to footage from their archives that has never been revealed before.Besides interviews with the two music gurus, there will be other special appearances, as well, such as Nas, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani and some others.
HBO’s president of programming, Casey Bloys, is very confident about the project. “’The Defiant Ones’ has everything you expect in a great story — drama and humor, tragedy and triumph. Allen Hughes takes you on a journey through some of the most important flash points of popular culture, and I’m delighted that we can bring this unforgettable saga to our viewers,” he said.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Are Not Getting Divorced

For the past couple of days, Kimye’s fans have been panicking because of splitting rumors. Some sources said that after he was released from the hospital, on November 30, Kanye did not go home and that he hasn’t spent time with Kim Kardashian and their kids ever since, “Kanye isn’t at home with Kim and the kids. He is instead receiving outpatient care elsewhere with a medical team. Kim still seems concerned but is supportive. They don’t know for how long Kanye will need outpatient care.”
Well, all those who have been restless these days should know that those rumors were far away from the truth. It seems like Kim and Kanye’s bond is, in fact, stronger than ever. After her robbery in Paris, which determined Kim to stay away from social media or any kind of very public appearance, and Kanye’s recent hospitalization, our favorite couple has become closer than they have ever been before.
While he was in the hospital, Kim stayed by his side the entire time. Sources close to the family said that Kim didn’t leave her husband and was there for him showing him care and love. After his release, it actually seems like Kanye has been spending some real quality time with his wife and two kids, North and Saint West, and that has helped the rapper feel better and get back to work. Of course, the artist is trying to avoid getting involved in major projects for a while, but at least he is back at doing what he does best: making music. The couple was even spotted going out to dinner at their friends’ house on December 6.
Ab-Soul Confirms a Kendrick Lamar/J. Cole Collab Album is in the Works

While promoting Do What Thou Wilt by Charlamagne tha God on The Breakfast Club, Ab-Soul told the host he may have a spot on the K-Dot/Cole album. He wanted to go on talking about the album, but told Charlamagne he can’t talk about the album even though he wishes he could. Also in the interview, the DWTW said they got something in the works to confirm there’s in fact something Kendrick and J. Cole fans can look forward to.
We don’t have any confirmation of an exact date of the collab album, but whenever it gets released, we know Kendrick and J. Cole will deliver some fire songs for us to praise for weeks.
Post Malone Drops Debut Album
Post Malone stopped by the Liftoff to celebrate his debut album, Stoney.
The White Iverson singer was expected to release the album back in august but announced that there was a delay. However tonight the album is ready to go.
The 18 track album features 14 new songs and 4 songs that have already been released like Congratulations, Leave, and Go Flex.
Fans of Malone have been blowing up his social media showing major support for this album with him saying “I have a lot of friends now”.
In the interview with Justin Credible and Dj Sourmilk, Post talks about how he never imagined that White Iverson would blow up as big as it did. He said, “I woke up one morning and it was trending.”

The Weeknd’s Entire ‘Starboy’ Album Gets on the Hot 100 List
Everyone was anticipating the release of The Weeknd’s Starboy in November, and the wait was worth it.
Not only is the album earning the No. 1 album in the country, all of his songs have gotten on the Hot 100 music list. The Weeknd is only the second artist to have the most simultaneous entries in the Hot 100 history. Drake was the first artist who had 20 at the same time back in May of this year. But, Drake and The Weeknd are tied for the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 titles from a single album.
Congratulations to The Weeknd on his Starboy album for getting those songs on the Hot 100 list.
Unreleased Videos of a Young Beyoncé are Bidding for Over $3 Million
Ted Owen & Co is the UK-based auction house that obtained this “rare” footage to be auctioned. The tapes are “12 original professionally produced Betacam video tapes of Beyoncé Knowles documenting the earliest music video appearance of Girls Tyme showcasing and starring a then 10 year old Beyoncé.” Ted Owen & Co claims the tapes show “two and a half hours of raw, unedited footage, original footage used to produce Beyoncé’s first music videos” and these are “rare images that have never been seen by public.”
So, how much do I have to save up in order to get in on this? Since these tapes of the Queen of slay date back about 20 years ago and have never been seen, the bidding starts at a big $3.8 million. Just mere pocket change. It’s unknown how the auction house obtained these rare videos of Queen Bey, but the closed auction is taking bids from November 29, 2016 until January 10, 2017.

The “10 Snipe Commandments” By Drake and French Montana
French Montana and Drake have proven their strong friendship lately, from living lavishly in the Dominican Republic in the video of “No Shopping” to partying together on a yacht at Montana’s birthday bash. But now, they are taking it to another level.
The two rappers created a list of rules they follow, entitled the “10 Snipe Commandments,” and that is in disregard to those who are fully committed. It is a representation of the bachelor life and brotherhood. Written by Drizzy and overviewed by French Montana, the list is meant to guide them in their “hunt” for “splash.”
Although not too long ago, French Montana was rumored to date female rapper Iggy Azalea, this last Instagram post made us questions those rumors. Here are some of the rules presented on the list:
“Thou shall never pillow talk or discuss business with a ting.”
“Thou shall never tell a ting about another man’s splash in order to execute his own splash.”
“Thou shall always lie to protect a brother’s reputation or chance of a splash conversion in the near or distant future.”

December 8 is going to be a big day for Nicki Minaj and her fans. The female rapper is going to release her first mobile game. Back in August 2015, Glu Mobile made an announcement stating that Minaj was going to get her own mobile game, similar to the famous “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” game, that has been a huge success since its release. Now, her vision is becoming reality.
Glu Mobile is really excited to work with Minaj. “Nicki brings Glu her audience of over 100 million social followers and new music category. We look forward to combining Nicki’s distinctive style and massive global appeal with Glu’s celebrity social gaming expertise,” said Niccolo de Masi, Glu Mobile CEO.
The game will be called “Nicki Minaj: The Empire” and will focus on gamers becoming entrepreneurs and building their own empire. “Barbie” teased her fans with an Instagram post, saying “This year for my birthday I’m giving my fans the most incredible gift ever. #NickiMinajTheEMPIRE – in just one week [Dec. 8th] you’ll get to create you own Rap Empire where you can record yourself rapping on the same track as me.” Basically, gamers will be able to choose nice outfits, change their looks, go to the studio, record songs and perform many other activities that a real life rapper does.
John Legend’s “Darkness and Light” Is Here
John Legend spreads love around with his new album “Darkness and Light,’ which is considered to be one of his most personal and intimate projects. The 12-track album features artists such as Chance The Rapper and Miguel.
Eight months ago, the artist and his wife were blessed with their daughter, Luna, and the singer dedicated the 8th song of “Darkness and Light” to her. The track is entitled “Right by You (for Luna)” and the lyrics sound like a conversation filled with questions for his daughter and metaphorical ideas.
There is no doubt that John Legend’s album has depth and is intended to add value to the world. “If you follow me on Twitter, you know I have a point of view. I want to do the same with my art. I want to contribute to the conversation,” explained the singer in an interview.
Rihanna and Prince Harry Raise Awarness For World AIDS Day
Rihanna and Prince Harry both celebrated Barbados’ 50 years of independence from British rule. Rihanna joined the Toast of the Nation and performed at an evening concert.
This celebration represented a huge privilege for Britain’s Prince Harry. “I am honored to be here representing my grandmother, as we celebrate the historic milestone of 50 years of independence of this beautiful nation. Her Majesty visited your beautiful country on the eve of independence in early 1966. The people of Barbados have held a special place in her heart ever since,” said Prince Harry in an interview.
One day after the event, Riri and Prince Harry met and together they raised awareness and encouraged people around the world to get HIV tested, by doing so themselves, on World AIDS Day.

Kelly Rowland To Publish Her First Book, “WHOA, Baby!”
Kelly Rowland proves her fans that singing is not her only talent. With the help of OB_GYN Dr. Tristan Emily Bickman, Kelly intends to publish her first book, “Whoa, Baby!: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (And Wonder What the F**k Just Happened)”, which is due in March.
The book is inspired by her own real life experiences with the birth of her 2-year-old son, Titan Jewell. Not only that Rowland was worried about what was happening to her body during that process, but in an interview she also revealed that giving birth made it more difficult for her to record a new album at that time. Luckily, now moms can get advice and learn from the singer’s experiences.
“Dr. Bickman and I wanted to create an answer to what to expect after childbirth. No one told me what to expect physically, emotionally, or mentally. The purpose of “Whoa, Baby!” is to comfort the mother and give her knowledge of what’s going on with her. We cover everything!” said Kelly.

Forbes’ infamous list of highest-paid musicians just came out today. Nobody is surprised about who got the No. 1 spot, but people are shocked about who got a higher spot than Queen Bey and her boo Jay-Z.
Taylor Swift swooped up the No. 1 spot on the list – *shocker* – with a big $170 million. Next on the list was One Direction who earned $110 million. Who was really surprising was the boss herself Rihanna on the list at No. 5 earning $76.5 million. B*tch Better Have My Money? B*tch already has her money! The most shocking part is how she beat some of the music industry’s top dogs like Beyoncé coming in at No. 17, Jay-Z coming in after her, Dr. Dre at No. 25, and Drake last at No. 30.
