Rick Ross Drops New Album ‘Rather You Than Me’

Rather You Than Me, Ross’s 9th studio album, has officially dropped.

The album has 14 tracks including “I Think She Like Me” with Ty Dolla Sign and the diss track “Idols Become Rivals.”  The album is also his first album since his confirmed deal with Epic Records in 2016.  Some features on the album are Future, Young Thug, Nas, Gucci Mane, and many more.

Rihanna Passes Elvis Presley in Most Top 5 Hits

If you haven’t heard of Rihanna’s recent accomplishments, you must have been hiding in a hole the past year.  Riri put another notch in her belt for being the boss artist she is.

Today, Riri finally reached the fifth spot in most Top 5 hits on Billboard Hot 100 list with 22 singles.  This means the “Work” artist surpassed the king of Rock N Roll, Elvis Presley, who has 21 singles.

Before getting this achievement, Rihanna took the third place spot from Michael Jackson for most Top 10 hits on Billiboard Hot 100 list with 30 songs.  Madonna holds the top spot with 38 songs, and The Beatles are second with 34 songs.

Migos and Sean Kingston in Fight in Las Vegas

A heated altercation with Sean Kingston and Migos is the new talk of the town.  Apparently, Kingston and the trio got into an altercation in Las Vegas at the Agenda tradeshow.

The first dispute was reportedly when Kingston ran up on the group and he traded some strong words to them.  After that, according to Complex, people started running towards the exits of the show when someone yelled Kingston was shot.  Reportedly, police arrived a little after this moment.

Not only did this heated altercation is said to have happened, but Twitter users say Migos rolled up on Kingston in the parking lot to fight and shot Kingston.

The details are still unclear about this whole ordeal.  Some Twitter users say they didn’t show any negativity towards each other, but others say this apparently did happen.

Rihanna Passes Michael Jackson in Most Top 10 Billboard 100 Hits

Since Rihanna didn’t receive a Grammy, she got another award in its place.  Riri just surpassed Michael Jackson in the most songs in the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 list.

“Love on the Brain” got Rihanna her 30th top 10 single on the Hot 100 list.  Ri was previously tied with Michael Jackson, the king of Pop, with 29 songs at 3rd place.  Madonna holds the top spot with 38 hits, and The Beatles hold the #2 spot with 34 hits.

Not only did Rihanna get into the top 3 spots, she also got recognized for another achievement.  Riri got the second fastest accumulation of hits.  It took her 10 years and 7 months to get to the #3 spot, while Madonna took 12 years and 8 months to get to her #1 spot.  The Beatles got the fastest accumulation of hits with 5 years and 9 months.

She might rack up a couple more songs with the rumor going around that she’s making an Anti 2 album. Riri is making moves and you best believe it after this success.

‘Cash Me Ousside’ Girl Stars in Kodak’s New Video ‘Everything 1K’

Danielle Bregoli, the ‘cash me ousside’ girl, stars in Kodak Black’s new video, Everything 1K.  The video features Danielle lip-syncing the song while counting a pile of cash, playing with her phone, and chilling in a Rolls Royce.  Her and a white poodle are the only two to star in the video.  Of course, Danielle has to strut her own “cash me ousside” merch while starring in the video too.

We’re not sure if this is the end of the 13-year-old’s 15 minutes of fame, but if it is, we’ll cash her ousside, how bow dat?

Vince Staples Said to Drop New Album “Very Soon”

Staples’ label confirmed a second album will be coming this year from the Prima Donna rapper.  BagBak was released last week with a little bit different sound than his last albums, so everyone is speculating what kind of sound Vince will have for the next album.

Not only did he drop the single and the announcement for the second album, he also has a tour coming up – The Life Aquatic Tour.  We wonder if the album will drop before the tour starts on February 24th.  Staples’ label, ARTium Records, said the album will be released “very soon” which can mean within a couple of weeks or within a couple of months.

Did you know how lit Kid Ink’s bars are?  Kid Ink shows what he’s got in this new freestyle with The LA Leakers.

He raps for almost 2 minutes with the Migos’ T-Shirt beat and the bars are insane.

We knew he was talented, but Kid Ink took it to another level with this one!

Vince Staples Drops Single ‘BagBak’

Among a lot of music that dropped tonight, Vince Staples was one of them.  Staples dropped a new fire single called BagBak.

BagBak is the Long Beach rapper’s first solo material since the drop of his album Prima Donna EP in August of last year.  It also dropped just in time for Staples’ upcoming tour Life Aquatic Tour which starts Feb. 24th in San Diego and goes through April.

The single, BagBak, is streaming on Apple Music and Spotify now.

Kanye West Will Debut Yeezy Season 5 at New York Fashion Week

Kanye West has proven he slays the music scene AND the fashion scene.  West has announced his Yeezy Season 5 show will premiere during New York Fashion Week.

Yeezy is known to have a lot of neutral but bold pieces in each one of his shows.  There hasn’t been much talk about what’s going to be in the show and what the line looks like, but Kim Kardashian-West posted on her Snapchat today that Kanye and her are working on a kids line that’s coming soon.  This might hint there may be some collaborations in Season 5.

The show is set to take place at Pier 59 Studio on February 15 at 5 P.M. ET. By West’s fashion history, we assume we’ll see a couple of cool pieces once again.

Big Sean Reveals Album Tracklist

Big Sean revealed the tracklist for his fourth studio album that will be released Friday, “I Decided.” he album has 14 tracks and features his bae Jhene Aiko and Eminem, Jeremih, and Migos.

Big Sean recently spoke about the Eminem feature stating “He was the only person that I heard could be the song and would keep it honest.”
