Yuna’s new video for “I Wanna Go” is the perfect summer day. With KYLE starting the single off with a descriptive verse, Yuna kicks in with her soothing vocals that lay the foundation in this breezy track. “Let Love Come Through” is another song that will be found on her upcoming EP, Sixth Street, out May 7.
This girl is awesome. We’ve posted Yuna’s music before, especially when Pharrell produced her first US single “Live Your Life.” Now, the Malaysian-born singer is coming out with a new EP called Sixth Street on May 7 and “I Wanna Go” is the first taste off her upcoming project. Perfectly laid back and effortlessly smooth, “I Wanna Go” plays perfectly with the sunny summer weather we’ve been having in Los Angeles lately.
Can’t wait for her EP to drop! Listen to the single below.
And just when I thought the track couldn’t get any better, Theophilus London lends his vocals for an alternative version of Yuna‘s “Live Your Life.” Perfect fit. Watch the soothing songbird’s adventures through pictures and footage in the new collage video. Free download provided below.
A couple days ago, Yuna asked her twitter fans if she should make Frank Ocean cover. Ummm… Hell yeah! Adding her own twist to the track, Yuna releases a live cover of Ocean’s first single off channel ORANGE, “Thinkin Bout You.”
Tuning out to Yuna‘s self-titled album the rest of the night. Find it on iTunes now.
Yuna sits down with Mando Fresko to talk about her U.S. debut album (out April 24th), working with Pharrell Williams and does an acoustic performance of “Live Your Life” and “Islands.” And did you know the Malaysian singer-songwriter was a professional bowler? We kinda got in trouble for leaking this song a month ago. Now we get the video… Legally.
If you know me personally and we talk music, I’ve probably talked to you about Yuna. I’ve been a huge fan of hers since I found out about her about 2 years ago. I really feel like this is her year to take the US over. Here’s her most recent single, which hits iTunes on 1/24, produced by Pharrell.
