Statik Selektah premiered a track, featuring XV, Jon Connor & The Kid Daytona, off his upcoming album, Population Control, on Shade 45. Radio rip for now. Sam Jack is short for Samuel L. Jackson but doesn’t Sam Jack sound like a whiskey drink? Population Control drops October 24th.
Produced by Statik Selektah.

Oops, I forgot to include Lil’ Wayne to the lineup. Jon Connor and XV tell the haters off over Sean C & LV production that happens to sample a recognizable Weezy line from “A Milli.”

XV stopped by Invasion Radio with DJ Green Lantern and Boss Lady to spit a nice little freestyle and explain why he feels his good ideas in his nuts. He said it not me.
XV’s Zero Heroes, with features from Kendrick Lamar, Pusha T, Donnis and more, is available now.

XV says he will be representing himself on his upcoming debut album with Warner Bros., The Kid With The Green Backpack, in this clip with Mixtape Daily. The Kid With The Green Backpack will feature production by Just Blaze and his longtime producer Seven. Let me just tell you, Seven and XV make magic together so adding Just Blaze will be like the icing and sprinkles on the cupcake.
Sidenote: I barely learned that Vizzy named himself XV because he started rapping at 15. I learn something new everyday.
Check out XV and Just Blaze in the studio working on “Where We’re Done” which you can find on Zero Heroes.

Here’s one of my favorite tracks off of XV’s latest project, Zero Heroes. Producer Seven and XV always make the best music together. Check out this track titled “Textbook Stuff” where XV and Kendrick Lamar address the trials of childhood into adulthood.
