WizKid Gives You ‘Sounds From The Other Side’ On New Album [STREAM]

Last summer WizKid was riding on Drake’s “One Dance” wave, which earned him a few plaques and recognition. This summer the Kid from Nigeria showcases his singing and songwriting talents on his debut album, ‘Sounds From the Other Side’.

Already having two solid singles in “Come Closer” featuring Drake and the Chris Brown-assisted “African Bad Gyal,” WizKid nabs a few other big names on his album. Along with Drizzy and Breezy, Major Lazer, Ty Dolla $ign, and Trey Songz are also featured on the album. Production is handled mostly by DJ Mustard, Diplo, Sarz, Picard Brothers, and Spellz.

Jamaican Reggae artist, Kranium clicks up with Ty Dolla $ign and WizKid on his new, vibey, dancehall jam “Can’t Believe”. The single is a ballad about a love interest, where the collaborators all share intimate lyrics about the feelings for that special ting.

Kranium has already been cosigned by Drake and The Weeknd and continues to show his consistency. Keep your eye on this dude, he’s the next Wayne Wonder.

New Video: WizKid – “Come Closer” Feat. Drake [WATCH]

A week after the official release of “Come Closer,” formerly known as “Hush Up the Silence,” WizKid drops the visuals for the Drake-assisted single. The DAPS-directed video is shown dancing while also paying tribute to his home country of Africa.

The models in the video are shown wearing traditional African outfits consisting of headdresses, dashiki-inspired dresses, and also get their beautiful faces painted. Although Drake does not appear in the video he did bless the track with the verse. This single follows Drake and WizKid’s successful “One Dance” collaboration, that also features Kyla.

As promised WizKid delivers his new single “Come Close” featuring Drake, which is guaranteed to make you do yu ting and get your dutty wine on. The combination’s last single “One Dance” was a massive success and soared to the top of the charts.

If you recall the Afrobeat-produced track was leaked in January and played on OVOSOUNDRADIO as “Hush Up the Silence”. “Come Closer” is the final version of the song and is the first single off Wiz’s forthcoming, debut album ‘Sounds From the Other Side’.
