New Music: Wiz Khalifa – “Rain” Feat. PARTYNEXTDOOR [LISTEN]

A new Wiz Khalifa album is definitely coming soon. After teaming up with fellow Taylor Gang member, Ty Dolla $ign on “Something New,” Wiz is making it “Rain” on his new single, where he connects with PARTYNEXTDOOR.

The production on “Rain” is handled by Sledgren and Cardo, and includes a heavy horn that is very similar to Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s “All the Way Up.” Sledgren said on Twitter that “Rain” was not only leaked, but him and Cardo made the beat before “All the Way Up” was released.

While it is unclear if “Rain” will be included on Khalifa’s upcoming album, you can listen to the single below.

Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign bring out the stars in the video for their radio-ready banger, “Something New.” With cameos from G-Eazy, Juicy J, OT Genasis Lil Dicky, Jamie Foxxx, Jason Derulo, amongst others, Wiz and Ty celebrate summer with a fiesta filled with bikini-wearing vixens.

“Something New” is the first single off Khalifa’s forthcoming ‘Rolling Papers 2’ album, which is due later this year, pending no delays.

Sampling Zapp and Roger’s legendary “Computer Love,” Wiz Khalifa puts together what appears to be his latest hit on the Hitmaka-produced “Something New” single featuring fellow Taylor Gang member, Ty Dolla $ign.

Wiz serves up romanticizing bars rapping, “Girl, you look just like something out a magazine / You smell great, know your body clean / Them ni**as been on you since you was a teen / Now you grown up, and I’m a boss, I’m just showing love / Smell like kush when I’m rollin’ up / So much bank, I can’t fold it up.”

Ty meanwhile contributes a verse and also handles the hook singing, “Baby, come give me something new / Cause I can’t stop loving you / Since I got a taste of your love / Baby, come give me something new.”

“Something New” appears to be the first single off Khalifa’s forthcoming album and follow-up to 2014’s ‘Blacc Hollywood’.

New Music: Ugly God – “No Lies” Feat. Wiz Khalifa [LISTEN]

Ugly God’s debut album, ‘The Booty Tape’ has been delayed several times. The 2017 XXL Freshman shared the track list last week and now he’s taking it a step further by releasing a new collaboration off the album with Wiz Khalifa called “No Lie.”

“Ain’t no rush, take your time be patient / Tell the truth, save them lies goodness gracious / Lizard man, Ugly God pussy bakin’ / Booty gang, underground sensation,” raps Ugly God on the self-produced track.

Set to drop this Friday, August 4th, the debut album will also include “Bitch!” and “Water,” which Ugly God made a splash with and even charted at No. 80 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Warner Music didn’t really promote Sevyn Streeter’s recently-released ‘Girl Disrupted’ album. That’s not stopping the songstress from doing her own promotion by dropping the visuals for “Anything U Want” featuring Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih, and Ty Dolla $ign.

Sevyn starts the video by confessing about a wild night before a full-on house party erupts with Wiz Khalifa rolling up and smoking, Jeremih showing off his dance moves, and Dolla $ign popping up on the television.  Eric Bellinger, actor Jackie Long, “Empire” star Serayah, singer model Jessica White, and social media influencer Leli Hernandez also appear in the video.

‘Girl Disrupted’ is now available on every platform and includes features from Wiz, Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign, DeJ Loaf, August Alsina, Dave East, and more.

Sevyn Streeter fans are delighted that the Goddess dropped her long-awaited ‘Girl Disturbed’ album. With a bundle of crazy collaborations, the album is really worth listening to. One of the standouts on the album is “Anything U Want” featuring Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign.

New Music: Statik Selektah – “Man Of The Hour” Feat. 2 Chainz & Wiz Khalifa [LISTEN]

Just yesterday Joey Bada$$ dropped three new, mellow singles all produced by Statik Selektah. Today the DJ/Producer returns with his own new, mellow single “Man of the Hour” featuring 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa.

With piano, saxophone, a choir and DJ scratches, Statik creates a nice music bed for Chainz and Khalifa to go off on. Titty Boi leads things off rapping, “I welcome yours with open arms / I give your lady a throat massage / I put your house in my fourth garage / Perpendicular, ignorant crossed with articulate / Southside, using Ben Franklin for benefits.”

Wiz follows with his own raps about putting this generation on the best weed and “getting high as D’Angelo bars.”

“High as fuck off the joint that I just rolled / Riding ’round in a cloud of that kush smoke / Put my generation on the good dope / Now we all getting high as D’Angelo notes,” raps Wiz over the mellow production.

This single is expected to be on Statik Selektah’s upcoming ‘8’ project.

New Video: Wiz Khalifa – “Pull Up With A Zip” [WATCH]

Last week Wiz Khalifa dropped a smoker-friendly remix for Sahbabii’s “Pull Up Wit Ah Stick” single called “Pull Up With A Zip.” In Wiz fashion the rapper flips all the violence on the track and puts his peaceful twist on it with rhymes about weed, smoking, and women.

The Slick Jackson-directed video shows Khalifa going on a late night drive with a girlfriend in his classic Chevy. With a belvy of smoke, Wiz chills in a parking lot and eventually makes his ways back up to the hills.

Wiz has remixed a variety of hot singles and made WeedMixes of each. So far he’s covered Drake’s “Passionfruit” with “Passit” and Donald Glover’s “Redbone” with “Stay Stoned”. Be on the lookout for his ‘Rolling Papers 2’ project coming soon.

Wiz Khalifa is known to kill remakes of songs. Just a couple weeks ago he put out his rendition of a remix with a “Weedmix” of SahBabii’s “Pull Up Wit Ah Stick” and Drake’s “Passionfruit.” Today the Taylor Gang boss returns with “Stay Stoned,” a Weedmix of Childish Gambino’s “Redbone”.
