New Video: Ty Dolla $ign – “Ex” Feat. YG [WATCH]

Ty Dolla $ign and YG mix Henny with that Bombay in the throwback-inspired video for “Ex” off the Taylor Gang crooner’s ‘Beach House 3’ album.

Using a sample of 112’s “Only You,” Dolla $ign and YG keep it all the way West Coast, as they ride around LA in lowriders and link up at The Grove and The Original Farmers Market on 3rd Street. From there they party in a house full of models and sip Henny and Bombay out of red SOLO cups.

On what would’ve been Dr. Martin Luther King’s 89th birthday, Vic Mensa pushes his dream forward with the visuals to his powerful, socially-conscious single, “We Could Be Free” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

The Apple Music exclusive video takes the viewers on a journey from the time a baby is in his/hers mother’s stomach, before that clip is interrupted by a police officer, who forecfully takes a woman to the crowd, as she peacefully protests.

Ty Dolla $ign & Jeremih To Release Full-Length Joint Project [PEEP]

When Ty Dolla $ign & Jeremih collaborated on “Impatient,” they left fans wanting more. Now, the R&B superstars will unite for a whole joint project called ‘MihTy’, produced entirely by Hitmaka and A1.

The project was first teased by Hitmaka on his Twitter, where he previews some new music and then when he appeared on “Joe Budden’s Podcast.” Recently Joe Budden called hit and asked him about the status and Hitmaka revealed it will include features from Chris Brown and PARTYNEXTDOOR.

Hitmaka goes on to say that ‘MihTy’ should be released around NBA All-Star weekend on possibly February 18th and that it will be loaded with 21 songs.

For many people Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Beach House 3’ album is easily one of the best releases of 2017. As the year comes to a close, Ty extends the promotion by dropping visuals for singles. The latest single to get the video treatment is “Side Effects.”

Directed by Ryan Hope, the video catches Ty reflecting on his adolescent days and relationship with an ex-girlfriend. He then focuses on making a name for himself and making a name for himself and artistry.

The single was accompanied by the DAPS-directed visual, which finds the collaborators throwing a party in an office after having a board meeting.

Wiz Khalifa & Ty Dolla $ign Perform “Something New” On “The Tonight Show” [WATCH]

Taylor Gang took over “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last night as Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign performed their most recent collaboration, “Something New.”

The Taylor Gang duo came through stunting in the latest fashion as Wizzle pulled up in a shimmering velour jacket with a half-buttoned green collar shirt below, displaying his combination of blingy chains. Ty wore a fashionable hat with a patterned shirt over a white t-shirt.

Joined by a pianist, drummer, and DJ, Wiz and Ty ran through their Hitmaka-produced single.

Ty Dolla $ign & Future – “Darkside” Feat. Kiiara [LISTEN]

Ty Dolla $ign and Future take a ride to the “Darkside” on their new collaboration, which also features singer/songwriter Kiiara. The single is the first release off the upcoming “Bright” motion picture soundtrack.

On the track Ty Dolla $ign and Future Hendrixx talk about their struggles, oppression, and adversity, while also sending subliminal shots at their haters. Meanwhile Kiiara exercises her vocal chords with a beautiful, melodic hook.

‘Bright: The Album’ is set to include additional appearances from A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Logic, Meek Mill, Migos, Snoop Dogg, Camila Cabello, and others. The soundtrack will be available December 13th, while the series will hit Netflix on December 22nd.

Ty Dolla $ign Performs “Dawsin’s Breek” On “The Late Late Show” [WATCH]

Already having one of the hottest albums of the second half of the year, Ty Dolla $ign has been celebrating his success by making his runs on televisions with performances of the touted singles. Having already performed on MTV’s “TRL” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Dolla stopped by “The Late Late Show With James Corden” last night for another one.

In front of a packed crowd in Stage 56 of the Los Angeles studio, the Taylor Gang crooner ran through “Dawsin’s Breek” without his collaborator, Jeremih. Although Jeremih wasn’t there he was joined by his DJ, a band, and a flock of women with painted faces, resembling zombies. The stage design featured strip club-inspired “Girls Girls Girls” sign and a couch.

Anything Ty Dolla $ign touches seems to turn to gold these days. Ashanti looks to replicate the Taylor Gang artist’s track record by putting him on her new single, “Say Less.”

Produced by DJ Mustard, “Say Less” is Ashanti’s first single since 2014, when she released her last album ‘BraveHeart’. The single includes the songstress harmonizing over the Mustard production, while Ty chips in vocals of his own.

“Say Less” is expected to be on Ashanti’s upcoming album, which is slated to be released next year. To now she hasn’t announced an official release date or title for the album, but with this single, we might be seeing the start of her album rollout.

Ty Dolla $ign turned the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” stage into a beach house with a performance of his ‘Beach House 3’ single, “Ex.” Introduced by SHAQ and joined by YG, who makes an appearance on the song, the West Coast heavyweights ran through the single with a plethora of backup dancers.

Last night Ty celebrated the release of ‘Beach House 3’ at 41 Ocean in Santa Monica. YG, Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz, RJ, TeeCee 4800, and many others made appearances as Ty vibed out and played the album in its entirety. LIT night.

Every ‘Beach House’ mixtape installment Ty Dolla $ign has dropped to date, has been an absolute vibe. For the third installment the Taylor Gang crooner has turned the mixtape series into an album on ‘Beach House 3’.
