TLC first hit the scene in 1990 and released their first official studio album ‘oooooohhh… On the TLC Tip’ in 1992. The group was one of the most popular groups in the ’90s and reached stardom through singles like “No Scrubs,” “Unpretty,” “Waterfalls,” and others.

In 2002 while production on ‘3D’ was in progress member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes died in a car accident. Although the album was released later that year, the group disappeared. Following a 15-year hiatus T-Boz and Chili return with their final album ‘TLC’.

The self-titled album includes Left Eye on an interlude, while Snoop Dogg collaborates with the group on “Way Back.” Other singles included on the 12-track album are “Perfect Girls,” “Start a Fire,” and the daring “Aye Muthafucka.”

Next up for TLC, they will go on  “I Love the ’90s: The Party Continues Tour” starting July 7th. Joining TLC will be Naughty By Nature, Biz Markie, Montell Jordan, Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath, and more.

New Music: TLC – “Way Back” Feat. Snoop Dogg [LISTEN]

TLC connects with Snoop Dogg and go “Way Back” on the nostalgic collaborative single.

T-Boz leads off on the single letting it be known,“It’s been a long, long time comin’.” Chili follows by referencing Michael Jackson and James Brown singing,. “Like James Brown and Michael J / Like them high school parties / Some things don’t ever change / Yeah, you and me, we go way back.” Snoop lends some rhymes as well on a verse that is reminiscent of the old school Snoop.

“Way Back” is the first single off TLC’s Kickstarter-funded final album set to be released June 30th. The title remains open as the group is letting fans suggest titles. The video for this single will be shot later this month.

Video: TLC – Scrubs/Waterfalls + J. Lo’s Booty Shake (Live On American Idol)

The remaining TLC members reunited on American Idol to perform “Scrubs” and “Waterfalls.” It took me back to my 4th grade days. Good times.

Below, watch Marc Anthony perform his cover of Hector Lavoe’s “Aguanile.” I figured you would love to watch Jenny From The Block perform her salsa number during his performance. Now that’s a MILF.
