Sex sells.
The Weeknd, in true The Weeknd form, quietly and randomly released a new song via YouTube titled “Kiss Land.” The seven-minute title track switches up half way into a faster pace. The second half we believe to be titled “John Carpenter” because he snuck that preview in earlier this week.
Yay or neigh?
There’s a lot of pressure for Abel to top his previous albums. We all know that House of Balloons was pretty much perfect.

The video for the audio preview is titled “John Carpenter” which we can only assume that this is the title of the song. One thing we know for sure is that The Weeknd is planning on releasing an album titled Kiss Land, sometime this year. Enjoy the 20 seconds.
French Montana takes us behind the scenes on the set of his upcoming video “The Gifted”, featuring The Weeknd.
Haunted by a woman from his past, The Weeknd shows his internal struggle through a dark sexual visual for Trilogy single “Twenty Eight,” directed by NABIL. There is a NSFW warning at the beginning of the video but nothing major if you like boobs.
Who needs a label when you have the internet? Ricky Hil, rebel son of fashion tycoon Tommy Hilfiger, doesn’t. Hil just released his debut album, sans major label, because he didn’t want to flake on his fans with a pushed back release date. But before you stream and download SYLDD (Support Your Local Drug Dealer), check out one of his standout tracks featuring The Weeknd.

And just like that, The Weeknd has added himself to almost everyone’s the most anticipated albums of 2013 list. We don’t know much besides that there’s a folder titled “2013 untitled album” sitting on his desktop. Let’s hope the content in the folder is nothing but gold.
