Future Performs “Crushed Up” On “The Ellen Show” [WATCH]

Fresh off the release of his ‘The WZRD’ album, Future takes his talents to daytime television as he performed a rendition of “Crushed Up” on “The Ellen Show.” Surrounded by veiled ballerinas Pluto ran through the single in all white.

His ‘The WZRD’ album is expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 110,000 to 130,000 equivalent album units.

21 Savage Performs “Bank Account” On “The Ellen Show” [WATCH]

Making his television debut, 21 Savage stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to perform his ‘ISSA’ smash hit, “Bank Account.”

Staying true to the lyrics of the song, 21 made his appearance “Gucci’d down” with a Gucci silk button up and belt. While he performed the hit single green fog lingered in the air and digital dollar bills floated on the LED screen behind him.

N*E*R*D Perform “Lemon” On “The Ellen Degeneres Show” [WATCH]

Although N*E*R*D’s recent ‘No_One Ever Really Dies’ album failed to impress as many expected it to, their Rihanna-assisted “Lemon” single has been a bright spot, continuing to climb on the charts. The trio of Pharrell, Chad Hugo, and Shay Haley took over “The Ellen Show” to perform it.

Even without Rihanna, the group impressed with their energetic performance, which included a variety of dancers and ensemble. Every dancer on stage displayed their different talents, making for an interesting performance. A violinist also joined N*E*R*D and added a different element to the song.

Logic & Alessia Cara Perform “1-800-273-8255” On “The Ellen Show” [WATCH]

Known as the voice of this generation, Logic really touched a lot of hearts and spoke for the voiceless on his last album ‘Everybody’. One of the album’s standout tracks is “1-800-273-8255” which has garnered a lot of attention, as it should for addressing suicide.

Logic along with his collaborator, Alessia Cara hit “The Ellen Show” stage to perform the heartfelt single in front of a very receptive audience. Along with the performance, Logic and Alessia also sat down with Ellen to discuss the significance of the song.

Since Logic’s emotional performance at the MTV VMAs, the single has climbed to No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, making it the highest for any song that includes a phone number.

Future Performs “Incredible” On “The Ellen Show” [WATCH]

With two album releases last month, Future continues his dominance with a daytime performance of his spirited single “Incredible” on “The Ellen Show.”

Rocking a Jimi Hendrix hoodie, Future Hndrxx delivered an energetic performance along with DJ Esco, Zaytoven, and his live band. The FreeBandz general even paid homage to Ellen, as he tweaked one of his lyrics to say, “girl you got me feeling like Ellen / I’m the man.”

“Incredible” is off the ‘HNDRXX’ album, that followed ‘Future’, a week after its release. With two releases in as many weeks, Future is projected to do the unprecedented, by being the first artist ever to have back-to-back No. 1 debuts. ‘HNDRXX’ will have an estimated 110,000 to 130,00 units.

Anderson .Paak Take His Talents To “The Ellen Show” [VIDEO]

Anderson .Paak took over “The Ellen Show” along with the Free Nationals to perform “Come Down.” The Oxnard native showed his different skills by rocking the mic with his vocals, while hitting the drums with his drumstick in rockstar fashion.

“Come Down” is off Anderson’s ‘Malibu’ album that dropped in January.

Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz Perform “No Problem” On “Ellen” [VIDEO]

Ain’t no labels stopping Chance The Rapper, bih.

Lil Chano along with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz went on “Ellen” to perform “No Problem” and trashed a record label in the process. Wayne took the trashing of the record label a little further, by going in on his former label, Cash Money.

Weezy tweaked the lyrics in his verse by rapping, “If Cash Money tries to stop me / I’ma let ’em rob me / Yeah, right! Like Ryan Lochte.”

Safe to say the Weezy, Cash Money beef isn’t going to be over any time soon.

Fresh off SNL, Drake continues to make his television rounds when he visited ‘The Ellen Show’ earlier in the week.

The “Hotline Bling” rapper discussed his SNL appearance, his relationship with Rihanna and had the shit scared out of him by a man ironically wearing Drizzy’s infamous “Hotline Bling” outfit.

KANYE ON ELLEN

Kanye made a rare television appearance earlier this week paying Ellen a visit to discuss several interesting topics and even played a funny 5-second rule game.

Ye started by talking about his kids (Saint and North) before he went on a stream of consciousness rant focusing on wanting to improve mankind. He notably shouted out Rakim and Phife Dawg. (R.I.P)

Chance blessed the game with his third mixtape release this week. The ‘Coloring Book’ formerly known as Chance 3 made waves creating a frenzy.

The 14-track mixape sounds more like an album with features from: Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, 2 Chainz, Future, Young Thug and a couple others.

LAKERS GET 2ND PICK IN LOTTERY

As Laker fans we are well aware that we need more talent to put the team back at the top where we belong. This week’s NBA Draft Lottery brought us the 2nd overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft.

Kobe’s retirement opens up a spot in the starting lineup and also leaves us without a face of the franchise.

It will be interesting to see who the Lakers end up getting. Let’s hope it’s a future superstar.
