Drake ended his final “Summer Sixteen” NYC show last night with some major stunting in front of a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden.
Drizzy kept the crowd on their feet and roaring as he surprised them by bringing out J. Cole, Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Fat Joe, Remy Ma and T.I. to grace the stage. In doing so he used the opportunity to throw more shade at HOT 97 by saying his final night at the garden was “the real Summer Jam.” Ouch.
The beef between the station and the Toronto rapper has definitely been cooking, as Flex used his radio show Saturday night to come at the 6 God with an over 20-minute rant. In the rant Flex questioned Drake’s street cred, fan base, freestyling and writing skills, in addition to other things.
J. Cole who’s had a close relationship with Drake through their careers performed “A Tale of 2 Citiez,” “No Role Modelz” and “Planez.”
Drizzy went on to glorify light-skinned Jermaine by calling him “one of the smartest, greatest, most legendary artists of our generation.”
Dipset came out to rock their city by performing the reminiscent crowd favorites “Hey Ma,” “Oh Boy” and “Dipset Anthem”
Fat Joe and Remy Ma blessed the stage by performing one of the hottest songs of the summer in “All The Way Up.”
Tip did his thing by bringing his energy to “What You Know,” “Whatever You Like,” “Live Your Life,” and “Bring Em Out.”
Drake added fuel to his HOT 97 beef by popping $7,000 bottles of Ace of Spades with the Breakfast Club’s C Tha God, who he once had a long-standing feud with as well.
