Before stepping into the new chapter of his music career, Big Sean will be taking a walk down memory lane for his next tour, which he will call the “Unfriendly Reminder Tour.”
On the tour Sean Don will reflect on the last 10-years of his career and all he’s been able to accomplish by revisiting of the songs in his catalog that didn’t get the proper shine. Using the platform he has now, he will revisit a lot of his old music and let the fans choose his setlist by voting.
For the 31-city North American tour Sean will being Playboi Carti, Shy Glizzy, and GASHI as supporting acts. It will kick off on April 12th in Orlando before traveling across the country and hitting major markets like Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Houston, Toronto, Atlanta, and more.
“I had to go back in and listen to all the old mixtapes and albums, and I was like damn man a lot of this stuff didn’t get the true shine,” he wrote on an Instagram post. “So with the platform I have now, I thought it would be perfect to revisit a lot of the old music as well as the new classics on my next tour. But I’m gonna give you guys the opportunity to chose my setlist on this tour. Can’t wait to hit the road.”
Voting for songs to be considered on the set list begins this Thursday February 8th on UKnowBigSean.com. Pre-sale tickets go on sale the same day between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. at local time. General admission begins February 9th at 10 a.m.
