Atlanta rapper/producer Russ has been killing the game selling out shows all over the world and getting platinum plaques. His fan base has been hungry for a new body of work and today Russ gives them his sophomore album, ‘Zoo’, which follows the platinum-selling, ‘There’s Really A Wolf’.
Containing a total of 14-songs, that album is led by the Scott Storch-produced “The Flute Song” and “Serious.” Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg appear on “Last Forever” and Mahalia on “Keep It Pushin,” while Russ handles the rest.

Atlanta rapper Russ rarely does features and has only done a hand-full in his young career. For the second time he connects with talented Bay Area singer/rapper, Rexx Life Raj for “Burn Baby Burn.”
The upbeat single has both collaborators providing crazy vocals and melodically gong back-and-forth about their love interest over the Cisco Cortez and Evan Ma-produced instrumental. This is a crazy joint that should garner heavy play on not only Urban stations, but also POP stations.
“Burn Baby Burn” will be included in Raj’s forthcoming ‘Father Figure 2: Flourish’ album, dropping November 17th.

I still remember listening to Russ and his single “Losin Control” last year and thinking, “this guy is going to blow”. Over millions of SoundCloud plays later the talented singer/rapper/producer drops his debut album ‘There’s Really A Wolf’.
On the album Russ showcases all his talents with singing, rapping, and producing. The LA Leakers Indie Pick of the Week alumnist displays his potent rapping ability with his strong, solid hooks and vocals, and catchy instrumentals.
Russ doesn’t really collaborate with anyone on his songs, so naturally the album includes no features, with minor co-production on the beats. Proud of this dude.

Russ collaborates with Dreamville’s Bas on his soulful, new single “Keep On Goin.” Over the mellow, guitar-driven instrumental, Russ inspirationally raps about taking care of his friends and family, while spreading other positive messages. Bas completes the track by dropping some hard-hitting bars.
