New Music: Lil Pump – “Gucci Gang (Remix)” Feat. Gucci Mane, French Montana, 21 Savage, Remy Ma, J Balvin, Bad Bunny & Ozuna [LISTEN]

Usually remixes are given to songs that need a little boost or to extend a single’s life. In the case of Lil Pump’s “Gucci Gang” it is definitely the latter option as it definitely didn’t need a boost given all the success it already had.

Pump reboots the single and gives it some latin flare as well by adding a star-studded lineup of Gucci Mane, French Montana, 21 Savage, Remy Ma, and latino artists in J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Ozuna. The single goes from just a little over 3-minutes to almost 8-and-a-half-minutes.

Contributing to the rollout of her upcoming ‘7 Winters & 6 Summers’ album, Remy Ma drops a video for her Chris Brown-assisted “Melanin Magic (Pretty Brown)” single. The video was directed by her and comes on Valentine’s Day, which is exactly what she had envisioned.

“As a proud black woman, I wanted to highlight black women and celebrate our beauty and strength,” she said.

A$AP Ferg and Remy Ma put on for their side in the Shomi Patwary and Trap Lord co-directed video for “East Coast”. Accompanied by some other East Coasters like A$AP Rocky, French Montana and Rick Ross, Fergie shows his high-powered energy through different special effects and a fisheye lens. Remy Ma flaunts an expensive designer dress and a cat while hitting her money dance.

“East Coast” will be on Ferg’s forthcoming ‘Still Striving’ album expected to drop this summer. The A$AP Mob rapper spent the past several weeks working on the album in Liberia.

New Music: A$AP Ferg – “East Coast” Feat. Remy Ma [LISTEN]

A$AP Ferg and Remy Ma “run it up, run it up, run it up” on their new collaboration where they put on for the “East Coast”.

The Trap Lord announced this single earlier this week and follows through on his promise. On his verse the New York rapper makes confessions to the Lord while repenting at the same time. Ferg also drops ad-libs throughout in Ferg-fashion.

Remy lights up her verse with light jabs a Nicki Minaj while referencing Joe Buddens and Big Pun, by rapping,“I spazz on ’em, I gun ’em up / I’m too smart, gotta dumb ’em up / Dead in the middle of Little Italy, they ain’t know Remy really could just Pun it up / On IG, you thumb it up / But in real life you bum it up / You ain’t own nothing, you so frontin’ / You Joe Budden, you pump it up.”

This single is the first off Ferg’s forthcoming ‘Still Striving’ and follow-up to last year’s ‘Always Striving’. The upcoming is still to have a release date. In the meantime “run it up” by pressing play below.

New Music: Young M.A – “Hot Sauce” [LISTEN]

Young M.A is feeling froggy and taking a leap on her new single “Hot Sauce.” The Showtyme On The Beat’s-produced track was first previewed in her “Kween” freestyle video about a week ago.

From rapping about bagging work, rolling mighty, blunts, and stunting, the Brooklyn rapper also talks about rap beef saying, “While they making disses, I’m just making hits / ‘Cause if it don’t make dollars, it don’t make no sense / It’s chess, not checkers, learn the game, dude / I just can’t relate, ’cause that’s what lames do.”

M.A might be taking a dig at Remy Ma, who recently released a couple diss tracks aimed at Nicki Minaj. Although M.A doesn’t call her out by name, one can make the correlation. It’ll be interesting to see if Remy feels some kind of way about the lyrics and responds. After-all it’s a sport.

“Hot Sauce” will appear on M.A’s forthcoming ‘Herstory’ EP, which she told Milk and Justin is expected to drop at the end of this month. She will also be taking a trek with 21 Savage for the “Issa Tour,” which begins March 31st in Houston, TX.

New Album: Fat Joe & Remy Ma – ‘Plata O Plomo’ [STREAM]

It’s been a long time coming, but Fat Joe and Remy Ma finally drop their joint album, ‘Plata O Plomo’, meaning silver or lead and inspired by Pablo Escobar.

The album contains 12 songs, lead by the GRAMMY nominated single “All The Way Up” featuring French Montana and Infared, as well as “Money Showers” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. Other features on the album include The Dream on “HeartBreak,” Kent Jones on “Swear to God,” “Spaghetti,” and “How Can I Forget” BJ The Chicago Kid on “Go Crazy,” and many more.

“This album is a masterpiece,” said Fat Joe in an interview at the GRAMMYs. “This New York area, y’all better support this. Y’all ain’t had an album come out like this in years…You ain’t had no major New York album come out like this in years, bro, with the quality and the hits that’s on this, and we got the mud.”

The album has been a long time coming for the Terror Squad members. The two had their ups and downs after their joint single “Lean Back,” but made up following Remy’s release from prison and announced the album last March.
