New Music: Mike WiLL Made-It – ‘Ransom 2’ [STREAM]

After a lengthy delay, Mike WiLL Made-It drops his highly-anticipated ‘Ransom 2’ album, just a day after his 28th birthday.

‘Ransom 2’ follows the original ‘Ransom’, which dropped nearly three years ago. The 17-track album includes contributions from some of the hottest artists in the game like Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Pharrell, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, YG, Migos, and many others.

The all-star producer admitted that Rae Sremmurd’s ‘SremmLife 2’ and Gucci Mane coming home, contributed to the nearly three year delay of the album.

“I was supposed to drop Ransom 2 last January, but I was locked in on [Rae Sremmurd’s] SremmLife 2,” he said on Beats 1. “I just disregarded Ransom 2 [and] put it to the side…Then Gucci came home. He was gone for three years…He came home and I wanted to make sure his project was super solid, so Ransom 2 was all the way moving down on the priority list.”

New Music: Mike WiLL Made-It – “Aries (YuGo)” Feat. Pharrell & Station Wagon P [LISTEN]

In just a few hours, Mike WiLL Made-It will drop his ‘Ransom 2’ album. To warm things up, the mega-producer dropped another track on his birthday, where he collaborates with another mega-producer. The single “Aries (Yugo)” features Pharrell and Station Wagon P and is everything you would expect.

The track was more than just vocals from ~~Pharrell,~~ or should I say Station Wagon P, which is Pharrell’s rapping alter-ego on the song. P also assisted in the production of the track, making it a hell of a production. Last time the two clicked up was on “Move That Dope”. This one is a more chill track but it still shows the artistry of both producers well.

As an Aries I am thankful for this track from my fellow Aries. I can already tell it’s going to be one of my favorites off the ‘Ransom 2’ gem. It’s also worth noting, Mike called the song his “theme song” on Twitter.

New Music: Mike WiLL Made-It – “Razzle Dazzle” Feat. Future [LISTEN]

Yesterday Mike WiLL Made-It dropped a new banger off his upcoming ‘Ransom 2’ called, “Come Down” featuring Chief Keef and Rae Sremmurd. At the same time there was a song floating around the Internet called “Razzle Dazzle” featuring Future. Today, Mike gives fans the official Future collaboration.

The playful title doesn’t translate to the lyrics, as the track finds a gloomy Future rapping about his sister’s health condition, amongst other serious issues.

“Razzle Dazzle” follows previously released singles, “Come Down,” “On the Come Up” featuring Big Sean, “Hasslehoff” featuring Lil Yachty, and “Gucci On My” featuring YG, 21 Savage, and Migos. ‘Ransom 2’ is set to drop this Friday and will be loaded with other features from Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Rihanna, Gucci Mane, and more.

New Music: Mike WiLL Made-It – “Come Down” Feat. Chief Keef & Rae Sremmurd [LISTEN]

It’s album release week for Mike WiLL Made-It, who will be releasing his highly-anticipated, long-awaited, ‘Ransom 2’ this Friday. In the process of dropping the super producer drops “Come Down” featuring Chief Keef and Rae Sremmurd.

With the 808s clapping, Chief Keef leads off by singing on the hook and rapping on the first verse. From there Swae Lee talks about the ups and downs of success. Slim Jxmmi follows rapping about his extensive shopping sprees on rodeo, his money, and the diamonds dancing on his neck.

“Come Down” comes a day after “Hasselhoff” featuring Lil Yachty. There is also a song called “Razzle Dazzle” featuring Future that is floating around, but hasn’t been made available on any platforms yet.

Over Mike WiLL Made-It’s hard trap beat, Lil Yachty comes for namesayers, rappers, and critics on the David Hasslehoff-inspired tribute, “Hasselhoff”.

Lil Boat puts his distinctive melody-driven style to the side on this one, as he drops bars in an attempt to dismay everyone that says he has no talent by rapping the lyrics,“Old n****s hate me / they doubt or adore me / Dick in her gut ’cause her daddy annoying / Lyrical ass, ni**a got me snorin’ / Tryin’ to make all this sense, that shit borin’”.

“Hasselhoff” is the third single off Mike’s forthcoming ‘Ransom 2’ album and it follows Big Sean’s collaboration “On the Come Up.” The release date for the album has been set for March 24th and it will include features from Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Migos, Rae Sremmurd, and others.

Mike WiLL Made-It Shares Official Track List For ‘Ransom 2’ [PEEP]

Following the official release date announcement of ‘Ransom 2’ last week, Mike WiLL Made It shares the official track listing for the upcoming project and as expected includes some pretty prominent names (like Kendrick Lamar and Big Sean).

A few weeks ago Mike shared a video on his Twitter that teased the track listing and appears to be spot on. Although the video shows no features it clearly shows the track listing that is now official.

Mike WiLL Made-It Announces ‘Ransom 2’ Release Date [PEEP]

When Mike WiLL Made-It checked in with the L.A. Leakers on the Power 106 #LIFTOFF show a few weeks ago he dropped a lot of gems about his forthcoming ‘Ransom 2’ project. Today, Mike went on Instagram to announce the release date for the highly-anticipated project.

“Dropping the soundtrack of the culture 3/24/17 thanks for your patience,” wrote Mike on the post.

Mike recently dropped the first single off the project, “Gucci On My” featuring YG, 21 Savage, and Migos, followed by the video. Last month, EarDrummers Ent. signees, Rae Sremmurd previewed a track that features Kendrick Lamar and Gucci Mane at a show, which is expected to land on ‘Ransom 2’.

Along with Kendrick Lamar, Rae Sremmurd, Gucci Mane, YG, 21 Savage, and Migos, ‘Ransom 2’ is also expected to include features from Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.

Mike WiLL Made-It is in full album mode as he continues to put the finishing touches on his forthcoming album ‘Ransom 2’. In the meantime, Mike gives fans the visuals to the first single off the project, “Gucci On My” featuring 21 Savage, YG, and Migos.

The video finds the rappers living lavish, as they all kick it in a very elegant home fully equipped with vintage furniture, gold, an expensive rug, candles, flocks of cash, beautiful models, and of course plenty of Gucci (On My).

‘Ransom 2’ is the sequel to 2014’s ‘Ransom’. It is expected to include features from Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Rae Sremmurd, Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj, and others. There hasn’t been a release date set as of yet, but watch the video below via YouTube in the meantime.
