New Video: 2 Chainz – “Sleep When U Die” [WATCH]

2 Chainz is supporting his ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ album with visuals for songs off his latest body of work. Just yesterday he shared the video for “Blue Cheese” featuring Migos and today he backs it up with the visuals for “Sleep When U Die”.

The Joe Moore-directed video shows Chainz rapping on a rooftop with the Dubai skyline as his background. Sporting a Supreme ski mask and Givenchy logo track pants, the Drench God spits rhymes of his hardwork and come up.

Starting August 1st Tity Boi will begin his “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music Tour” at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA. Chainz will also do a special performance at the NOVO in Downtown LA as part of BET weekend.

It’s looking like 2 Chainz will do numbers with his latest album, ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’. All indications are pointing towards the album debuting at No. 2 behind only Lorde, with about 60k sales and streaming.

Chainz is keeping his foot on the gas by dropping the visuals for the Migos-assisted banger, “Blue Cheese”. Along with his fellow ATLiens, Tity turns the trap to a runway show with makeshift catwalks in bandos with boarded-up windows.

The DAPS-directed video goes onto show Migos stunting with their prestigious jewelry pieces as they dance and count money.

New Album: 2 Chainz – ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ [STREAM]

One of the most-anticipated albums coming into the year was definitely 2 Chainz’s ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’. After a minor delay, Chainz delivers his third solo album, that follows last year’s ‘Daniel Son; Necklace Don’ and Hibachi For Lunch’ EPs.

‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ is led by the Drake-assisted “Big Amount” off ‘Daniel Son; Necklace Don’ and “Good Drank” off “Good Drank” featuring Gucci Mane and Quavo off ‘Hibachi Fo Lunch’. The album also includes “4am” featuring Travis Scott and “It’s A Vibe” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Trey Songz, and Jhene Aiko.

Aside from the album release, Chainz has been the talk of the town after he annihilated Kendrick Lamar’s “DNA.” on his LA Leakers “#Freestyle017.” His killer punchlines, quotable raps, smooth flow, and pure barz on the freestyle added extra hype to the release. 2 Chainz Announces “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music Tour” [PEEP]

In support of his forthcoming ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ album, 2 Chainz will be going on a nationwide tour to spread his Trap Gospel as part of the “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music Tour”.

Beginning in LA on June 25th, the rapper will do a special BET Experience show at the Novo in Downtown LA. Chainz will then go home on August 1st and perform at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia. The tour will run through cities like Houston, Dallas, Oakland, Chicago, New York, Boston, Toronto, and others before ending at the “Life Is Beautiful Festival” in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 22nd.

There will be a pre-sale for the “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music Tour” starting June 8th, while general admission tickets will be made available for purchase on June 9th.

The highly-anticipated ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ album is scheduled to be released June 16th and include the singles “Big Amount” featuring Drake, “Good Drank” featuring Gucci Mane and Quavo, “It’s A Vibe” featuring Trey Songz, Ty Dolla $ign, and Jhene Aiko, and “4AM” featuring Travis Scott.

2 Chainz Discusses ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’, LA Music Influence, Basketball & More On The #LIFTOFF [WATCH]

2 Chainz dropped in on Justin and Sourmilk on the #LIFTOFF to discuss his forthcoming ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ album. Regarding the album, Chainz says the star-studded features sound like they’re supposed with nothing being forced. He also talked about his collaboration with Pharrell and confessed the mega-producer called him when he thought the album was already done.

Chainz also discussed his love and admiration for West Coast music and LA influence, while calling Ice Cube one of the Godfathers.

“It’s the originator of gangsta rap of hardcore impact rap,” he said about the LA influence. “Been in love with the East Coast music for whatever it’s worth for the samples or whatever, but I’ve been in love with the ambience of West Coast music.”

Aside from music, Creddy and Milk also talked about Basketball with Chainz and compared his music game to a current NBA Player.

Late last night while many unwinded from their long three-day weekend, 2 Chainz got to work by sharing the track listing for his forthcoming ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ album. The long-awaited, delayed album was given a release date of June 16th last week and now a track list to go with it.

As expected the 16-track album will include a star-studded cast to further add to the hype which has built up with the delay. Drake, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell, Travis Scott, Migos, Gucci Mane, Ty Dolla $ign, and Trey Songz are only a few of the featured artists.

The album will include both “Big Amount” featuring Drake and “Good Drank” featuring Gucci Mane and Quavo that were on last year’s ‘Daniel Son; Necklace Don’ mixtape. It will also contain “It’s A Vibe” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Trey Songz, and Jhene Aiko.

In addition Chainz dropped a his new single “4 AM” featuring Travis Scott off the album. Listen below.

It’s quite clear that Def Jam has fully launched the campaign for the ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ which drops in about two weeks from today.

(UPDATED) 2 Chainz Announces New Release Date & Cover Art For ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ [PEEP]

Due to unforeseen circumstances the original release date for 2 Chainz new album, ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ was changed. Following a two month delay, Tity Boy and his label Def Jam have set a new release date for the highly-anticipated album of June 16th.

The former Playaz Circle rapper announced the date on his Instagram account accompanied by a video trailer. In the trailer several of Chainz’s homies and potential collaborators like Drake and Pharrell make appearances where they show love.

“You’re one of my favorite rappers of all time,” says Drake. “I say that proudly. You got the best songs.” While Pharrell chimes in with some wisdom and praise for the music.

Last year Chainz dropped a few mixtapes and this year after his original release date of April 7th was scratched he’s collaborated on a series of ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ playlists with Nicki Minaj and Blacc Chyna to name a few.

Chainz shares the artwork for his highly-anticipated ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ album just two days after announcing the release date.

The cover shows a haunted, pink bando (abandoned housing project) with thunder and tornados around it. Different shades of pink are used along the cover with the title being comprised of spray paint, a “like” emoji, and cursive writing.

Maybe Chainz will drop a new song later today to accompany the announcements.

2 Chainz Discusses Manchester Attack & ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ [PEEP]

While on “The View” yesterday, 2 Chainz opened up about the recent Manchester attack at the Ariana Grande concert that left 22 dead and several injured. Chainz admitted the attack could leave a lasting negative impact on concerts with people living in fear.

“I think that situation is very unfortunate,” he said. “When people go to concerts, they feel like it’s a place to get away. For some kids, it’s their first time being away from their parents, and for parents, you hope they have a good time, get back home safely.”

Sharing the sentiment of several other artists that have commented on the situation, saying concerts are meant to be a place of unity and healing. He also believes as any terror attack, this one will effect artists of all genres in different ways.

“This is a concert where there shouldn’t be that much resistance,” he continued. “It should be safe. I know a lot of the content from hip-hop rappers, you just assume, even the venue’s insurance is just different. With this situation, it’s a trickle down effect. I don’t know where the mindset is for her. It’s just a real unfortunate situation.”

Chainz also talked about his forthcoming ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ and previewed what can be expected saying, “You can expect growth and maturation from 2 Chainz. It’s still edgy content. Good girls used to like the bad guys, and that’s what this album is about.”

‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ will be dropping June 16th. Although there isn’t a track listing as of yet, you can expect collaborations with Drake, Pharrell, Migos, and others.

2 Chainz ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ Album Delayed [PEEP]

It looks like 2 Chainz forthcoming album ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ has been delayed a bit. Tity Boi’s original expected release date of April 7th is being changed after the rapper shared a post on Instagram where he says, “…ain’t no date bihhhh…”

Chainz announced the title and release date for the album, which will be his third release on Def Jam back in January. In the same Instagram post Tity took a subtle jab at his label saying, “@defjamrecords wudup,” with a sick Emoji following. Read the full post below.

Could Kendrick’s recent announcement of his forthcoming album dropping April 7th have anything to do with it? It’s all speculation for now. Let’s hope Def Jam rapidly gives Chainz the green light to drop. The streets need that ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’.

Just yesterday 2 Chainz shout out a couple of angry tweets about a “#vibekiller” for leaking his newest single “It’s A Vibe” featuring Jhene Aiko, Trey Songz, and Ty Dolla $ign. Chainz drops the official audio for the raunchy single, and it definitely is a vibe.

The leak of “It’s A Vibe” was quickly removed off of SoundCloud yesterday and may be the reason, Chainz also decided to drop “Smartphone” along with it today.

“It’s A Vibe” finds all the contributors getting freaky as they all share explicit lyrics about their sexcapades, which are guaranteed to get the right vibes going.

Both “It’s A Vibe” and “Smartphone” are expected to be on Titty’s forthcoming ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ album, set to be released on April 7th.
