Tinashe Gives Details About Her Upcoming ‘Joyride’ Album & More [WATCH]

 

My boo Tinashe stopped by the Power 106 #LIFTOFF to talk to my bros Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk.

While in the studio she debuted one of her new singles in “No Drama” featuring Migos member, Offset. After Jus and Milk played the record a couple times she discussed how it came to fruition, gave details on her forthcoming ‘Joyride’ album, discussed proper DM etiquette, and more.

She also played a game of “Drama or No Drama” after her single and answered questions about situations she feels are drama-filled and others that aren’t.

New Video: L.A. Leakers – “FaceTime” Feat. Eric Bellinger, Wale & AD [WATCH]

Our “FaceTime” single has made a lot of noise since being released back in September and been played at different clubs around the world, featured in different ad campaigns, including a recent Fashionova social media post. It’s only right we gathered Eric Bellinger, Wale, and AD for the video, which was shot in the Hollywood Hills.

Shooting the video was as fun as the video looks. Upon arriving at the location for the shoot in the Hollywood Hills the scene was set and everyone was already in character. The video starts with AD and our video girl Jade Ramey, who killed her part. Jade, goes on to replicate her scenes with E, before doing a sexy shower scene that is guarenteed to have you drooling.

Villain Park Puts On For LA Over A Classic Dr. Dre Beat On #Freestyle040 [WATCH]

Every week shouldn’t be a surprise when we come thru with a fire freestyle to add to our already impressive series, that many try to imitate, but none can really replicate. Whether it’s a known name or an up-and-comer, everyone we’ve had so far has been heat. None of these will get bashed in the comments section anywhere.

This week Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk brought in LA rap duo Villain Park, who came thru the Power 106 #LIFTOFF show and shot off some crazy impressive bars over Dr. Dre’s classic “Deep Cover” instrumental.

Aminé Torches A Classic Clipse Instrumental On #Freestyle039 [WATCH]

Although he’s became a mainstream, coveted act and known for his infectious hooks and melodic flow, don’t get it twisted, Aminé also has bars. The Portland rapper pulled up on Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk on the Power 106 #LIFTOFF to display his lyrical abilities.

Going over the Clipse’s “Momma I’m So Sorry” instrumental, Aminé spits a smooth freestyle about topics like Donald Trump, homophobia, eating Tide Pods, being called Pop, how his “Pop” records include trap drums, and more.

Cozz Delivers Fire Over Dr. Dre’s “F*ck You” Instrumental On #Freestyle038 [WATCH]

Next week Cozz will release his sophomore album ‘Effected’ which comes four years after his ‘Cozz & Effect’ debut album. To warm the masses up, the LA native stopped by the Power 106 #LIFTOFF show to deliver bars over Dr. Dre’s classic “F*ck You” instrumental.

‘Effected’ will be released next Friday, February 9th.

DVSN Talk Potential OVO Joint Project, Touring, Upcoming Material, Their Dynamic & More [WATCH]

Right after performing at the first night of their sold out “Morning After Tour” in Los Angeles, the OVO fam DVSN pulled up on Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk to discuss some things that were very intriguing.

Amongst the topics discussed was their ‘Morning After’ album, touring, Nineteen85’s previous and future collaborations with Drake, the possibility of a complete OVO compilation and tour, and much more.

During the interview Justin Credible brought up Drake’s next album and shared his sentiments about wanting to see some new music from the duo on there. Ninteen85 alluded to a potential collaboration saying, “thats for sure.”

Over Tekashi 6ix9ine’s polarizing “Kooda” instrumental, Maxo fired off vicious bars, where he goes into detail about his lifestyle. In every bar it’s evident that the Houston rapper is not to be tested and can go bar-for-bar with anyone out there.

Jay Rock Says His Album Is Done, Talks Black Hippy Project & More [WATCH]

Off the release of his new single “King’s Dead” featuring Kendrick Lamar, Future, and James Blake, Jay Rock stopped by the Power 106 #LIFTOFF to discuss the song, how it came to fruition, “Black Panther” album, and a lot more with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk.

Rock says he was working in the studio when K. Dot came in to ask if he wanted in and he couldn’t pass up on it. Aside from the “King’s Dead” single and  “Black Panther” soundtrack, Rock said his upcoming album is done and hinted at a potential Black Hippy project.

Nipsey Hussle Talks ‘Victory Lap’, Atlantic Records Partnership & More [WATCH]

Hometown hero Nipsey Hussle stopped by the Power 106 “#LIFTOFF” show to check-in with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk. Neighbadhood Nip came loaded with goodies as he premiered his new single “Rap N****s” and shared the cover art and release date for his forthcoming ‘Victory Lap’ debut album.

Nip told Creddy and Milk that he will release ‘Victory Lap’ during the 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend on February 16th. The album has been teased since 2013, but Nip made the official call on the “#LIFTOFF” and had the streets buzzing.

Along with the ‘Victory Lap’ details, Nipsey also went in-depth about his new partnership with Atlantic Records, his upcoming smart store opening, The Marathon Continues brand, shared some advice, how he peeps game, and a lot more.

Dreezy Delivers Hardcore Bars On #Freestyle034 [WATCH]

As the year comes to a close a lot of folks are slowing down and waiting on next year. NOT the LA Leakers. Just when you thought we were all done and slowing down, we bring you the latest installment of our freestyle series.

For #Freestyle034 we brought in Dreezy, who happened to be leaving out of town the same night. Before catching her flight she came through and delivered some crazy bars that may have caused some turbulence on her flight.

The up-and-coming Chicago artist showcased her lyrical skills as she rapped about her rise in the industry, securing the bag, her pregnant pockets, coming up but staying humble, and demanded Meek Mill be released from prison.
