Nicki Minaj graced the cover of ‘Complex’ magazine’s Dec/Jan issue. Inside the mag Nicki talks about The PinkPrint, the successful singles, Drake, blogs and more.

You’re on Twitter all the time. Do you read what blogs write about you?

I’m not on blogs, so I didn’t know. People see me retweet stuff and they think I’m some Internet person but I’m not. A lot of times, with the controversy surrounding “Lookin’ Ass,” for example, I didn’t know anything about it until it was so late it would’ve been crazy for me to address it. Every now and then, people in my circle will say, “Did you know blah blah blah?” People on my team know I don’t want to hear any drama. I don’t want any negativity. I don’t want to hear what’s on the blog. I don’t care.

Nicki Minaj graced the cover of ‘V’ magazine’s December issue, looking hot in a red little number on the cover. Inside the magazine Nicki talks about all the criticism she received over  her ‘Anaconda’ cover, and more.

You can get your copy on November 13th.

On criticism for her ‘Anaconda’ cover: “You’re talking about newspeople who don’t even know anything about hip-hop culture. It’s so disrespectful for them to even comment on something they have no idea about. They don’t say anything when they’re watching the Victoria’s Secret show and seeing boobs and thongs all day. Why? Shame on them. Shame on them for commenting on “Anaconda” and not commenting on the rest of the oversexualized business we’re a part of.”
