New Music: Wale – “Folarin Like” (Nas Is Like Freestyle) [LISTEN]

A few days after responding to J. Cole’s “False Prophets” with “Groundhog Day,” Wale is back with “Folarin Like,” a freestyle to the classic DJ Premiere-produced “Nas Is Like…” instrumental.

On the track the MMG MC raps about haters in the industry and how he dispises industry functions and happenings. Towards the end of the track Wale teases his forthcoming album ‘SHINE’ saying, “Folarin like none of these n****s / S.H.I.N.E. comin’, man, I’m tired of every last one of these n****s.”

Nas and Erykah Badu blessed the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” stage last night with a dramatic performance of “This Bitter Land.”

“This Bitter Land” is a single off the motion soundtrack of ‘The Land’, an independent film about four young men in Cleveland who try to find their way out of poverty.

The song illustrates the various issues that people deal with in the inner city like discrimination, police violence, and struggling with everyday life.

DJ Khaled – “Nas Album Done” Feat. Nas [VIDEO]

Nas Album Done. That’s a major key.

DJ Khaled took his winning ways to the Bahamas to co-direct the cinematic video for “Nas Album Done” along with Eif Rivera.

The over 8-minute video for the song features Nas and is reminiscent of Hype Williams’ ’98 film “Belly” which also starred the God Son.

In the video you see both Nas and Khaled spreading irie vibes with Carnival dancers, lively outfits, cigar smoke and a lot of champagne and Ciroc.

“Nas Album Done” is the second video off Khaled’s first No. 1 album ‘Major Key.’

Nas – “This Bitter Land” Feat. Erykah Badu [AUDIO]

‘The Land,’ a movie of coming to age will hit select theaters this Friday July, 29th. Nas, who will be in the movie is not only the soundtrack’s executive producer, he also has a song on the album where he collaborates with Erykah Badu.
