Coming off his hiatus from the industry, Metro Boomin makes a return with the release of his surprise album, ‘Metro Boomin Presents: Not All Heroes Wear Capes’.

Locked and loaded with a total of 13-songs, the anticipated album includes some of the game’s biggest names like Drake, Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, Swae Lee, Offset, and more. Offset and Drake’s collaboration from last year appears as a bonus track.

Big Sean & Metro Boomin Perform ‘Double Or Nothing’ Medley On “The Tonight Show” [WATCH]

Hot off their collaborative ‘Double Or Nothing’ album, Big Sean and Metro Boomin took over “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to perform a two-song medley of songs off the tape.

Beginning with a performance of “Who’s Stopping Me,” Big Sean took the stage with a microphone rapping the lyrics, while Metro Boomin played his part in the background, as he provided the keys and mixing. From there they did “Savage Time.”

‘Double Or Nothing’ was released last Friday and includes features from 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Young Thug, and Kash Doll. The joint effort is expected to sell 60-65,000 units in its first week.

Big Sean & Metro Boomin’ Roll The Dice On ‘Double Or Nothing’ Joint Album [STREAM]

Big Sean and Metro Boomin’ join forces for their ‘Double Or Nothing’ collaborative album, where the Detroit spitter lashes out big boy bars over the St. Louis producer’s instrumentals.

Packed with a total of 10-tracks, Sean Don and Boominati collaborate with Travis Scott on “Go Legend,” 2 Chainz on “Big Bidness,” Young Thug on “Even the Odds,” Swae Lee on “Reason,” Kash Doll on “So Good,” and 21 Savage on the high-powered “Pull Up N Wreck.”

 The joint project was a bit of a surprise for many, as it was released just days after the official announcement was made. For Sean and Metro both being from the Mid West, the project allows them to show off their chemistry, as Sean’s quick rhymes are a perfect match for Metro’s hard-hitting beats.

When asked about the collaborative effort Metro said, “I was born in ’93 and a lot of projects [from that era] had one producer, maybe two. They sounded more cohesive — better as a whole.”

For Big Sean, ‘Double Or Nothing’ is his second album of the year and follows the critically-acclaimed ‘I Decided.’ Meanwhile Metro Boomin’ collaborated with Nav for their own ‘Perfect Timing’ joint project and linked with 21 Savage and Offset for ‘Without Warning’.

Big Sean & Metro Boomin’ Announce Joint Album [PEEP]

From “Bounce Back” to “Pull Up N Wreck” to a complete joint album? Big Sean and Metro Boomin’ have made an announcement that they will be joining forces for the forthcoming ‘Double Or Nothing’ album, that is expected to be released before 2018 arrives.

Sean Don stirred up the hype when he tweeted, “I ain’t done wit 2017 yet…” A few hours later he tweeted “DOUBLE OR NOTHING,” with Metro following suit and tweeting “DOUBLE OR NOTHING” as well. The combination of both artists together has been literally a hit so far.

In an interview with Billboard both artists discussed the upcoming collaborative album and the decision to team up and make it.

Metro told Billboard, “I was born in ’93 and a lot of projects [from that era] had one producer, maybe two. They sounded more cohesive — better as a whole.” Big Sean then continues by saying, “That’s one of the things me and Metro are like-minded on. Maybe it has something to do with us being from the Midwest. We have that goal of wanting to succeed not just for ourselves, but for everybody who’s listening.”

To celebrate his ‘I Decided.’ album going platinum, Big Sean releases his new single with Metro Boomin’ called “Pull Up N Wreck” featuring 21 Savage. This day also marks the one-year anniversary of the release of his last Metro Boomin-produced single, “Bounce Back.”

This single is an absolute banger and could potentially be the first single off a joint project between Sean and Metro. Both the rapper and producer have previously teased the idea of a collaborative project, so we will see soon how serious they are.

21 Savage, Offset, and Metro Boomin’ have formed like Voltron for their surprise 10-track ‘Without Warning’ mixtape, that is completely produced by Metro, who dropped a collaborative mixtape with Nav earlier this year.

The tape includes a feature from Travis Scott on the opening track, “Ghostface Killers and Quavo on the thumping second track, “Rap Saved My Life.”

The timing couldn’t be more right for XO signee, Nav and super producer, Metro Boomin’ to unite forces and display each of their individual talents on ‘Perfect Timing’. 

With 15-tracks the collaborative project boasts of features from Gucci Mane on “Need Some,” Belly on “You Know,” 21 Savage on “Both Sides,” and Lil Uzi Vert on “A$AP Ferg” and “Navuzimetro#, Pt. 2.” Other features include Playboi Carti and Offset.

For LA Leakers Indie Pick alumnist, Nav, this follows his self-titled debut project from February. This is Metro Boomin’s second collaborative project of the year following May’s ‘DropTopWop’ with Gucci Mane.
