It’s been a minute since we heard some material from the collective, almost a year to be exact. The crafty duo brings us the first releases since last October’s ‘The Space Between’, in the form of “Spirit” and “All Over You.” Both singles might be part of an upcoming project.

Staying true to the “October’s Very Own” mantra, the duo made up of Majid Jordan and Majid Al Maskati known as Majid Jordan release their sophomore album, ‘The Space Between’.
‘The Space Between’ follows the Canadian duos critically-acclaimed, self-titled debut album from last year. Their single “Phases” began the buzz of this second body of work and was followed by collaborations with fellow OVO label-mates, PARTYNEXTDOOR on “One I Want” and dvsn on “My Imagination.”

Majid Jordan will keep the OVO October takeover alive when they release their anticipated ‘The Space Between’ next Friday, October 27th. Ahead of that they drop the smooth “Body Talk” single off the album, where they ask for more action and less talking.
“We don’t need words,” sings Majid Al Maskati. “Let your body talk / Baby, don’t speak, let your body talk.”

Continuing their full-fledged musical output in October, OVO will make their second release in as many weeks with the release of Majid Jordan’s ‘The Space Between’ album, dropping this Friday. Ahead of the release the duo uncovers the album’s track listing.
Set to contain 13-tracks, ‘The Space Between’, will include the PARTYNEXTDOOR-assisted “One I Want,” as well as “Phases,” “Gave Your Love Away,” and “My Imagination” featuring dvsn. Production is expected to be handled mostly by OVO producers.
For the group comprised of Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman, this will be their second studio album and a follow-up to last year’s self-titled debut. The album will be released Friday, October 27th.

Along with the announcement, Majid Jordan unveiled their new single “My Imagination” featuring label mates, dvsn. “My Imagination” is the third single off ‘The Space Between’, with “Phases” and the PND-assisted “One I Want” being the other two.

It’s been over a year since Majid Jordan last dropped a project. Back in February of 2016 they released their self-titled debut and since have dropped new music in “Free,” “Gave Your Love Away,” “Phases,” and “One I Want” featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR.
It appears the wait is over as the duo tweeted the cover art with the title of ‘The Space Between’. They did not specify a release date, but did include in the tweet that the project would be dropping some time in the fall. It is expected that both “Phases” and “One I Want” featuring PND will appear on the album.

Louis Vuitton’s SS18 runaway show at Fashion Week in Paris gave us a new Drake song. Apparently there is a whole playlist with songs by the October Firm that fueled the show. Later today on OVOSOUNDRADIO the whole playlist, which includes Majid Jordan’s single “Gave Your Love Away” will air.
