SXSW Link Up: Maestro Discusses Upcoming EP, Balancing Music & Acting & More [WATCH]

Being a musical artist or actor definitely takes a lot of work between memorizing lines, getting into character, coming up with material, and just balancing your every day life. Imagine being both an artist and an actor at the same damn time. That’s how Chicago’s Maestro lives his life picking up both acting and music at an early age.

I caught up with the talented singer/actor at SXSW and we discussed balancing two careers at once, his upcoming role as former Bad Boy rapper Lil Cease on USA’s “Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac & The Notorious B.I.G.,” his upcoming EP, and a lot more.

Video: Maestro Knows – Special Edition (It’s About Time)

I always enjoying watching videos from the homie Maestro. Check out Maestro and his mentor Justin as they get to shoot for their first time ever on the Universal Studios backlot. Maestro shares his thoughts on being a part of something larger than yourself, Tinker Hatfield speaks on the release of the Nike Mag, all to lead up to a special message from Mr. Michael J. Fox himself.

During Fashion Night Out in NYC, it was rumored that Tinie Tempah was the first to purchase a pair of the rare kicks for 38k! For 10 days, 150 pairs of the 2011 Nike Mag will be auctioned every day.
