The Yeezus tour is invading Los Angeles this weekend! I had a chance to drop by the pop up shop today on Melrose, and check out some hot Yeezus Merch. Shout out to Virgil, Ivan, and my dawg Easy from RSVP. If you wanna swing by the Pop Shop tomorrow here is the address 8422 Melrose Avenue, Kanye’s all-white storefront it’s right next door to the Kardashian’s Dash boutique.
G-Eazy is currently promoting his latest album, Must Be Nice, by taking the show on the road and will be making a pit stop in sunny Los Angeles on Saturday, March 9th. The concert will take place at El Rey theatre, one of my favorite venues, and the show is SOLD OUT. Luckily for you, we’re giving away two pairs of tickets to the show. Rules are pretty simple. Really, there’s only 2.
Reaching its third year in operation, KNOCKSTUDY is getting ready to start the spring semester for 2013. KNOCKSTUDY is a non-profit organization that provides middle school and high school students that have an interest in arts with MC, film and music production workshops. Computers, supplies, everything is provided.
Classes take place in the afternoon (obviously, after school – duh) at the Bresee Community Center in Koreatown. Applications to enroll need to be submitted by Friday, February 8th and classes start Monday, February 11th. Make sure you apply today! Enroll your little brother or sister or if you fit the age range and live in Los Angeles, enroll yourself! This is an awesome opportunity and it’s free, which is EVEN BETTER. Click here for more informations and to apply.
Watch L.A. rapper Dumbfoundead’s KNOCKSTUDY PSA, posted above, for even more info on the program.
Spotted this event on Pac Div’s tumblr and I figured you, the reader, would be interested in attending. As you may know, HardKnock TV provides interviews with the hottest hip-hop artists and on Saturday, June 30th, they are celebrating 7 years in the game. If you’re in LA, don’t miss out! I’m always impressed with (and I always have fun at) the events Nike holds at the Montalban. All the information should be on the flyer.
“This is the place I wanted to play the song. I’ve been waiting to come in LA to do this. Imma take y’all back a little bit.” Mac Miller performed in front of a sold out crowd last night at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. Sure the video starts off with a little bit of another cover he was doing, Weezer’s “Say It Ain’t So,” but he finishes it off by performing an acoustic cover of a west coast great. Miller’s Blue Slide Park drops tomorrow, pre-order here.
