Tyga Talks About The Creation Of His ‘Legendary’ Albums, Inspiration Behind Title & More [WATCH]

Los Angeles legend Tyga came together with a selection of Power 106 listeners for a quite “legendary” intimate session dubbed the “Tyga VIP #LIFTOFF Listening Album Party” with the L.A. Leakers.

Shutting down the exclusive Beverly Hills hidden Boosty Bellows night club, select winners filled the LA hot spot for a meet and greet with the “Haute” rapper and got a first listen to his ‘Legendary’ project, ahead of it’s official release. Tyga chopped it up with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk about how the project came together and the importance of showcasing an “LA vibe” this time around. Speaking on the feel of the new album, Tyga states, “For me, I just had to make sure it felt like home. Like if it’s your first time in LA you need it to feel like that! If you turn Power 106 on or you go to the club…it just needs to feel like that!”

Tyga goes on to answer a few fan questions, mentioning the most fun he had recording was the Swae Lee featured track “Vibrate” and reveals what inspired his ‘Legendary’ album title.

Tyga Unleashes His New Album ‘Legendary’ [STREAM]

Tyga unleashes what he considers is the “album of the summer” in “Legendary’.

A year after he had the biggest comebacks with “Taste” featuring Offset and went on a full-fledged hit spree release, T-Raww delivers his first album since 2018’s ‘Kyoto’. The album contains previously-released singles like “Taste,” “Goddamn” and “Haute” featuring Chris Brown and J Balvin.

Loaded with a total of 14-tracks ‘Legendary’ also contains additional features from Lil Wayne, Gunna, Swae Lee, Blueface, A Boogie wit da Hoodie,” and Bazzi.

Tyga Announces New Album ‘Legendary’ + Shares Release Date & Cover Art [PEEP]

Tyga has been steadily releasing bangers for a minute now like “Taste,” “Dip,” and most-recently “Goddamn,” to name a few. Today T-Raww announced that he will be dropping his new album ‘Legendary’ this Friday, June 7th.

Making the announcement on Twitter, Tyga shared the artwork, which features a gangster Tyga standing in front of a white Rolls-Royce Cullinan while two scantily-clad baddies stand by his side and pose in a seductive way.

“ALBUM OF THE SUMMER??? ALBUM DROP THIS FRIDAY 6/7 #LEGENDARY,” wrote T-Raww.

‘Legendary’ will include “Goddamn” and “Girls Have Fun” featuring G-Eazy and Rich The Kid. It will also contain features from Chris Brown, J Balvin, and more.
