New Music: Kyle – “ISpy” (Remix) Feat. Kodak Black [LISTEN]

i-spy-remix

On the day when he was named as one of the 2017 XXL Freshman, KYLE drops a remix for his most successful single to date, “iSpy”. Kodak Black takes Lil Yachty’s place on the track just days after his release from jail.

The remix includes the same production, while KYLE’s verse is tweaked a bit with a shoutout to his remix partner. “They freed Lil Kodak / The kid’s back, let’s throw somethin’,” raps KYLE.

Kodak meanwhile makes it clear he doesn’t want to be featured on anybody’s track by rapping, “I don’t ever wanna be doing features / I stay far away from these people / Said she love me, but I don’t believe her / Yeah, I want you, but I don’t need ya.”

KYLE has enjoyed the success of “iSpy” which peaked at No. 4 and currently sits at No. 19 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

Kodak Black A Free Man [PEEP]

kodak-black-court

Kodak Black’s released from jail a whole 267 days early after serving 97 days. According to TMZ, his release relied on his completion of a voluntary life skills class, which he completed in Broward County Jail. The course is said to have taught Kodak about life skills management, parenting, domestic violence, coping, and more.

His original sentence was set for 364 days, but after completing the class the judge demanded he take, he’s off the hook — for now atleast. While he continues to carry on with his legal woes, Kodak will remain on house arrest for the next year and will need to be granted permission for any kind of work-related travel.

The Florida rapper showed his joy of being free with an Instagram video, where he sang along to Lauryn Hill’s “Ex Factor.” Watch below.

The last year has been filled with legal troubles for Kodak. Last August he reached a plea and was sentenced to a one year of house arrest and five years of probation for charges of robbery, evading police, possession of a fire arm, and more.

He violated his house arrest agreement by leaving his home without permission and photos of him at a strip club landed on the Internet, making it easy for authorities to lock him up.

Let’s hope he can stay in the right lane and focus on his music career.

Kodak Black Released From Jail On Bail [PEEP]

kodak-black-jail

After several setbacks and a new case pending, Kodak Black was released from a jailhouse in Florence County, South Carolina on $100,000 bail bond.

Black, real name Dieuson Octave, is facing a criminal sexual conduct charge for allegedly sexually assaulting a fan after a show at a South Carolina Comfort Inn. The alleged victim’s story in the case states that lil’ Kodak “pushed her into a wall and then down onto the couch.”

In November the “Skrrt Skrrt” rapper was extradited from a St. Lucie County Jail in Florida, where he was serving a drug sentence to Florence County, South Carolina for the sexual conduct charge trial.

Sporting a Burberry button-up, Kodak walked out with two men and a smile on his face. He then went on Instagram to post a picture with a caption showing love to fans and supporters.

“I’m happy to finally be going home to my family and friends,” he wrote on Instagram. “I look forward to clearing my name in the very near future. I want to thank God, my family, my team (Vanessa, Phatboy and James McMillan), Atlantic Records, my lawyers and all of my fans for your continuous love and support. I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love most – working at being the illest rapper alive,” he wrote in the post.
