This Is What Happens When Kendrick Lamar Tweets About A Free Show In Los Angeles

Taken from Instagram.

In honor of good kid, m.A.A.d city being released today, we’re determined to post as much as we can about the West Coast’s own Kendrick Lamar. Ok, maybe we’re just trying to take over your timeline but what can we say, we are from LA.

Last night, a majority of Kendrick’s Los Angeles fans joined him for a free show in front of the Staples Center, scheduled to start after the Lakers pre-season game. Originally scheduled to perform today, the spitter tweeted, “That free show is 2NIGHT outside of Staples Center. After the game. #GKMC.” A friend of mine, Porterhouse LA, said that when he arrived around 8pm there were already about 100 people gathered around the meeting point. “At the top of a city tour bus parked directly across the street from the Staple Center is where Kendrick performed at. I’d say Kendrick performed for a good 18 minutes before the cops shut him down because that 100 turned into about 400 as soon as the Laker game was over.” YUP. Ghetto birds and all.

He truly is a good kid in a m.A.A.d city. Buy his album here and check out more pictures and footage after the jump.
