This Friday, July 21st, Tyga will be dropping the follow-up to 2011’s ‘Bitch I’m the Shit’ with the sequel ‘Bitch I’m the Shit 2’. The original had some solid star-power with features from Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and others.
On the sequel, Tyga gets help from his G.O.O.D. Music family, fellow LA artists, and past collaborators. T-Raww lists Kanye West on “Feel Me,” Pusha T on “Ski on the Slope,” Young Thug on “Run It Back,” Ty Dolla $ign on the recently-released “Move to LA,” Quavo on “Bel Air,” Vince Staples on “Playboy,” and others. Similar to Jay-Z’s ‘4:44’, Tyga puts his offspring on a song as well.
It took about six years for the sequl, but this Friday Tyga will finally give his fans what they want. Tell us in the comments which track your looking forward the most to on the 15-track project.
Apparently Kanye has been happy not being in the spotlight and has regained his health. Last year due to health concerns he had to cancel the remainder of the “Saint Pablo Tour.” Ye could be heading back on tour as early as early 2018 with his health back in shape.
According to TMZ Live Nation is awaiting a green light from the rapper to begin planning for a 2018 tour. The jaunt would include a new set list, stage show, and production. By then perhaps we might have some new music from Ye, which he would perform. There is no set date as of now and it appears Kanye is looking to avoide deadlines because they stress him out.
When he cancelled the remainder of the “Saint Pablo Tour” last year he was suffering from sever anxiety, depression, paranoia, dehydration, exhaustion, and was even labeled 5150 by a doctor a one point. According to TMZ’s source, Kanye is now “focused, engaged, and has overcome the issues that landed him in the hospital last year.”
It was reported that Kanye was in Wyoming spending time at a mountaintop retreat, working on his next album and staying away from the spotlight. Over the weekend photos surfaced of him with family and he was all smiles.
Glad to hear he’s doing better. Let’s hope we get some new music soon.
There’s no signs of a new Kanye album yet, but fans did get two new songs that were leaked online by a hacking group known as Music Mafia.
On one of the leaks Kanye collaborates with A$AP Rocky for a song called “Euro (Switch Hands)” and the second, “Hold Tight” features Migos and Young Thug. Both tracks are below an “F” grade, given the kind of music quality Ye has spoiled us with. To be fair the songs do sound like a work in progress and it is unknown if they are what Yeezy has been working on in the Wyoming mountains.
There have been reports Kanye has been lacking creativity and TMZ recently said that Pusha T went out to visit Ye at the mountaintop resort in Wyoming to help work on his creativity. While Kanye works on the new album, he’s working on his Yeezy Season 6 collection, Adidas collabs, and was recently said to be working on Calabasas High School’s football uniforms.

Kanye West continues his ‘The Life Of Pablo’ dominance by going certified platinum. In doing so, the album becomes the first-ever, stream-only album to earn an RIAA platinum certification.
Although the album was released last February, it earned the certification after it achieved over 3-billion streams according to a press release from Def Jam. The streams equate to 1-million equivalent album sales. Last year the album became the first-ever stream-only album to reach the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
The “living album” was exclusively released on TIDAL before being available on other streaming services a month later. It had several alterations, updates, and different versions of certain songs with different features. It was innovative in the sense that it went through different transformations and was a working piece of art.
On the 39th episode of his “OVOSOUNDRADIO” show on Beats1, Drake gives fans his highly-anticipated ‘More Life’ “playlist,” as promised.
To ring in the 22-track “playlist,” Drizzy dropped “Free Smoke,” which he has teased along his “Boy Meets World Tour” in Europe. On “Free Smoke” the 6 God confesses to “almost giving up on the music thing,” drunk texting J. Lo, who he samples on the album, and more.
‘More Life’ was first announced in October and was delayed several times as a result of the “BMW Tour” in Europe. It includes contributions from Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Quavo, Giggs, Young Thug, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and more.
The project follows the ‘Views’ album, although it is considered as the “evolution of a mixtape.”
“It was getting tough to be like, ‘I’m dropping a mixtape but it’s for sale on iTunes.’ It was like, ‘Oh, that’s your album.’ I didn’t want people to say this is my next album,” he said in an interview on a previous OVOSOUNDRADIO episode. “Views was my album. This is something that, after Views, I was just inspired. I wanted to keep the music flowing.”
Stream ‘More Life’ in its entirety below via TIDAL.
It’s been an interesting end of the year for Kanye West. From his hospitalization for stress, depression, exhaustion, and paranoia to his involuntary psychiatric hold to his support and meeting with Donald Trump, it seems he’s been making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
It is now being reported that West will cancel the entire European leg of his “Saint Pablo Tour” after also cancelling the remainder of his US dates, prior to being hospitalized in November.
According to TMZ, the European leg was scheduled to make stops in Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. Fortunately for fans, unlike the remainder of the US dates, there haven’t been any tickets sold for the European leg of the now completed “Saint Pablo Tour.”
Even with the cancellation of the leg, it doesn’t seem like Pablo will lose any money as he has an insurance policy for lost profits and expenses that stem from any “health-related concert cancellations.”
The “Champions” crew minus Gucci Mane reunites on Yo Gotti’s new banger “Castro.”
Kanye West, Big Sean, Quavo, and 2 Chainz all contribute to Gotti’s second single off his forthcoming album ‘White Friday’. The squad gets off over the bouncy instrumental with mentions of the late Fidel Castro, Pablo Escobar, Jennifer Lopez, John Travolta, and more.
Along with “Castro,” Gotti’s ‘White Friday’ will include the single “Weatherman” featuring Kodak Black and “I Remember” featuring DJ Khaled. It is slated for release Friday, December 23rd. In the meantime preview the track below via Apple Music.
In addition to his album drop in the coming weeks, Gotti announced he has signed a partnership with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. The Southern rapper will unite with the Roc, while still maintaining his CMG label. Congratulations, Gotti!
A lot of heads were shaking yesterday when pictures of Kanye West meeting with Donald Trump at the Trump Tower in NYC surfaced. After being hit with backlash from his Trump-supporting comments West dug an even deeper hole amongst fans and peers by meeting with Trump.
West tried to clean up the meeting by saying it was for “change” and to discuss “multicultural issues” like bullying, violence in Chicago, supporting teachers, etc.
John Legend, one of Ye’s good friends and G.O.O.D. Music signees sat down with French media company Clique to discuss the meeting. Legend wasn’t buying the reasoning behind the meeting and viewed it as more of a publicity stunt for Trump.
Legend has been very vocal in his disapproval of Trump since the early primaries and was “very disappointed” Ye met with the President-elect.
“I think the things he’s promised to do have been very concerning for a lot of people, and for Kanye to support that message is very disappointing,” Legend told Clique.
Kanye West met with Donald Trump today at the Trump Headquarters in New York City. Shortly after photos and videos surfaced on the Internet, fans and critics displayed their anger on social media.
The meeting shouldn’t have surprised many as it was imminent following West’s comments at his “Saint Pablo” concert in San Jose, Calif. last month.
“If I would’ve voted, I would have voted for Trump,” he said during a rant at the “Saint Pablo” show in San Jose. “I don’t think his approach was just entertaining, because that trivializes it. I actually think that his approach was absolutely genius because it fucking worked.”
Shortly after sharing his support with fans in attendance, Ye cancelled the remainder of his “Saint Pablo Tour” dates due to exhaustion, dehydration, depression, paranoia, and was even placed on involuntary psychiatric hold.
Before posing for a photo in the lobby of the Trump Headquarters, Kanye met privately with Trump for about 15 minutes to discuss several issues. There’s been speculation that Trump may have offered Kanye some kind of “ambassador” position, although it’s unclear as of now.
Kanye went on his Twitter hours after the meeting to confirm he requested to meet with the president-elect to discuss different topics like bullying, violence in Chicago, supporting teachers, and multicultural issues.

For the past couple of days, Kimye’s fans have been panicking because of splitting rumors. Some sources said that after he was released from the hospital, on November 30, Kanye did not go home and that he hasn’t spent time with Kim Kardashian and their kids ever since, “Kanye isn’t at home with Kim and the kids. He is instead receiving outpatient care elsewhere with a medical team. Kim still seems concerned but is supportive. They don’t know for how long Kanye will need outpatient care.”
Well, all those who have been restless these days should know that those rumors were far away from the truth. It seems like Kim and Kanye’s bond is, in fact, stronger than ever. After her robbery in Paris, which determined Kim to stay away from social media or any kind of very public appearance, and Kanye’s recent hospitalization, our favorite couple has become closer than they have ever been before.
While he was in the hospital, Kim stayed by his side the entire time. Sources close to the family said that Kim didn’t leave her husband and was there for him showing him care and love. After his release, it actually seems like Kanye has been spending some real quality time with his wife and two kids, North and Saint West, and that has helped the rapper feel better and get back to work. Of course, the artist is trying to avoid getting involved in major projects for a while, but at least he is back at doing what he does best: making music. The couple was even spotted going out to dinner at their friends’ house on December 6.
Suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation, Kanye West was admitted to Los Angeles’ Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, over a week ago. The rapper has got involved in numerous music and fashion projects and has had to deal with a lot of stress and work. Not too long ago, he canceled one of his last shows of the Saint Pablo Tour because of voice exhaustion, after performing 40 shows in 86 days.
His wife, Kim Kardashian, hasn’t left the hospital and has been by West’s side since he was hospitalized. Kim and the doctors seem to be really concerned by Kanye’s condition, considering the fact that after all the medications he was prescribed, not much has changed.
The time spent in the medical center is not too bright for the artist. He is being very paranoid and constantly watched for his safety and a source reported that he has “big ups and downs, but this bout seems to be much more serious.”
We hope that Kanye West will get well soon and that he will be able to continue creating such an amazing art.
Béyonce, Kanye West, Chance The Rapper, Frank Ocean, and Young Thug all finished in the top 10 of Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Albums of 2016.
Queen Béy lead the way with her highly-acclaimed ‘LEMONADE’ topping the list. The platinum-selling album’s placement came to no surprise to some, after its worldwide popularity and countless awards and accolades.
“Beyoncé shut everyone else down this year with a soul-on-fire masterpiece, testifying about love, rage and betrayal that felt all too true in the America of 2016,” wrote the magazine. “The queen not only made the album of the year (and make no mistake, David Bowie would have been the first to say so), she delivered a confessional, genre-devouring suite that feels larger than life yet still heartbreakingly intimate, because it doubles as her portrait of a nation in flames.”
Chance The Rapper, Frank Ocean, and Young Thug all followed Béyonce in the top 10 for their albums ‘Coloring Book’, ‘Blonde’, and ‘Jefferey’, respectively. Both Chance and Franky Ocean have received high praise for the continuous success of their projects while being indepedent.
Drake’s ‘Views’ finished 42nd after ‘If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late’ placed third last year, behind Kendrick Lamar’s ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ and Adele’s ’25’.
Other hip-hop notables include: Danny Brown’s ‘Atrocity Exhibition’ (19th), Rihanna’s ‘ANTI’ (25th), A Tribe Called Quest’s ‘We Got it From Here…Thank You 4 Your Service’ (30th), Alicia Keys’ ‘HERE’ (32nd), Maxwell’s ‘blackSUMMERS’night’ (40th), and Future’s ‘Evol’ (43rd).
