Kanye West Announces More Public Street Screenings (News)

If you missed Kanye’s “New Slaves” street screenings last week, he’s doing more showings this weekend!

Kanye West premiered his new track “New Slaves” by projecting visuals on 66 buildings across the globe last week, and he’ll be replicating the displays again this weekend in some new locations. West has updated the interactive map on his website with new locations in Europe and North America, and the new displays will again show “New Slaves.” He’ll continue the projections today in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; Milan, Italy; Birmingham, England; Tucson, Arizona; Philadelphia; and Houston. More displays will follow over the weekend.

Kanye West – Tim Westwood Freestyle (2005) (Video)

Tim Westwood released this gem today back from 2005 when Kanye freestyles for almost 15 minutes straight!

What makes this freestyle particularly cool is the fact that Mr. West is rhyming over beats that he has never rapped to: He spit over The Game’s “Dreams,” Jay-Z’ “Encore” and Common’s “The Corner.”

Kanye West To Join Cast Of Anchorman 2 (News)

Hollywood.com is reporting, that ‘Ye was spotted on a downtown rooftop in Atlanta with Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate. Whether or not this is simply a cameo or more than that has yet to be revealed. Other celebrities spotted who are rumored to appear in the Anchorman sequel are Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Harrison Ford, Sacha Baron Cohen, Liam Neeson and Nicole Kidman.

Kanye West Premieres “New Slaves” On A Bunch Of Buildings (Video)

In case you missed it, Kanye West had 66 screenings of “New Slaves” in 10 different cities. The cities and locations were shared on a map found on Kanye West’s official site. As you can see, Kanye’s face was projected on the side of buildings (like the one above). Mikey Fresh (Miss Info) captured one debut in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Just pretend like you were there.

Kanye West Performs “Black Skinhead” & “New Slaves” On SNL (Video)

For SNL’s season finale, the show brought out Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy also known as the majestic Kanye West for a special closing out performance. The tracks, “Black Skinhead” and “New Slaves,” that Yeezy performed are new material that possibly (but I’m pretty sure) will be found on his upcoming album, Yeezus.

“Black Skinhead” is posted above and “New Slaves,” which premiered in 66 buildings in 66 different locations before it was performed live on SNL, is posted below.

Kanye West Performs New Music At Met Gala 2013 (Video)

When my mom came back from Russia last year, she brought me a hand painted egg. I’m using this story as an intro so I can somehow tie it in with Kim’s dress. However, the post is not about the dress, no no no, it is about Kanye West releasing new music. AHHHHHHHHH.

Yup. Kanye performed new tracks in front of a well dressed (punk was the theme) A-list crowd at the Met Gala 2013. We’re not really sure on titles but we do know he premiered new music because A-Trak did post a picture on Instagram with the caption, “Ye premiering the new album… #mask #jimcarrey”

Hit the jump for some Vine footage from the show. Why someone would record 30 seconds of new material that is only going to go in an infinity loop.. I have no clue. According to KTT, Vogue Magazine will be releasing concert footage on May 10.

Kanye West To Perform On ‘SNL’ Finale (News)

Kanye West will be the musical guest for  SNL’s season finale!

“SNL” confirmed the rumors by announcing that Yeezy will perform on the May 18 episode with host Ben Affleck. This marks his fifth time performing on the show. His last appearance was in October 2010 to promote his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
