Kanye West is ready to admit he was somewhat at fault for the fall out with Drake.
Late Tuesday night Yeezus went on Twitter to wave a white flag and attempted to make amends with The 6 God, who had been dissing him “Nonstop,” since Pusha T dropped his scathing “The Story of Adidon” diss.
“Sending good energy and love to Drake and family and crew,” he wrote along in a tweet that was accompanied by a photo of Drake’s stage from the “Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour.” “I haven’t seen the show in person but the images look incredible online I understand where the confusion started.”
Ye went on to apologize for “stepping on your release date in the first place” and also leaving him off “Lift Yourself,” which Drake is rumored to have wanted to be on. “We spoke about doing Lift Yourself together I should have given you the opportunity for us to do this together before I released it,” continued Kanye.
The beef was rumored to have begun after Pusha T dissed Drizzy on his ‘Daytona’ tracks, “Infared” and “What Would Meek Do,” which was produced by Kanye and the latter featured him.
There should have been no songs with my involvement that had any negative energy towards you,” wrote Ye in another tweet. “Since we were building as friends and brothers I should have spoken to Pusha about the Quentin Miller bar.”
Kanye and Pusha T are said to be responsible for ADIDAS losing out on Drake and in-turn forcing him to go back to Nike and sign a new deal.
Yeezy goes on to say he didn’t listen to either Drake or Pusha T’s diss tracks, writing, “I did not have any conversations about your child with Pusha,” he said. “I don’t play with the idea of people’s children after I spoke to Wiz a few years earlier.”
