West Coast artists A$ton Matthews and Joey Fatts, known together as the Cuttroat Boyz, link up for the street-themed single , “My Nina.” In an ode to the metal clip, A$ton and Joey keep the safety off with the trigger finger in place and deliver the shots strictly over the Kenny Beats-produced beat. Long Beach, Calif.’s Joey Fatts, along with Vince Staples, bring the ironically named single “Lindo,” meaning “beautiful” in Spanish, to life. The slow-paced black-and-white visual ends on a dramatic note and is followed by a PSA about racial gang violence in the LBC and the rest of the country. Joey calls for action, “it’s time to rise up and empower unity within ourselves to fight for the greater cause.” Be sure to be on the lookout for his mixtape, Chipper Jones Volume 2, dropping next week.
