Ty Dolla $ign Confirms Joint Album With Jeremih & Hitmaka Dropping Next Month [PEEP]

Last year HITMAKA teased a potential joint album between Ty Dolla $ign and Jeremih. It appears the album is coming to fruition with Ty confirming to Zane Lowe on Beats 1 that ‘MihTy’ will be dropping next month.

The project was first teased by Hitmaka on his Twitter, where he previewed some new music and then when he appeared on “Joe Budden’s Podcast.” On a different episode, Joe called HIT and asked him about the status and Hitmaka revealed it will include features from Chris Brown and PARTYNEXTDOOR.

While on a FaceTime call with Zane Lowe, Ty Dolla $ign said they did eight sessions and had “like 60 songs” together that they had to choose between 13 and 14 songs. He goes on to say that the remainder of the songs from that project they could “give away to some of the homies.”

“Next month I’m dropping a whole ‘nother project with me and my brother Jeremih,” he told Zane Lowe. “I’m so excited for that one, it’s nothing but smashers we did it with my bro HITMAKA, he produced the whole sh*t, so it’s like a consistent album of bangers.”

Be on the lookout for new music from Ty and Jeremih coming soon and more information on their upcoming joint album, dropping next month.

Jeremih Drops His ‘The Chocolate Box’ EP [STREAM]

It’s been a minute since we heard from Jeremih, but apparently he’s been busy working in the studio and it is quite evident with the release of his ‘The Chocolate Box’ EP.

Late last night the Chicago crooner shared the first single “Forever I’m Ready” and it stirred up the conversation of the project across social media. ‘The Chocolate Box’ includes three other songs which are “Cards Right,” “SMTS,” and “Nympho.”

Ty Dolla $ign & Jeremih To Release Full-Length Joint Project [PEEP]

When Ty Dolla $ign & Jeremih collaborated on “Impatient,” they left fans wanting more. Now, the R&B superstars will unite for a whole joint project called ‘MihTy’, produced entirely by Hitmaka and A1.

The project was first teased by Hitmaka on his Twitter, where he previews some new music and then when he appeared on “Joe Budden’s Podcast.” Recently Joe Budden called hit and asked him about the status and Hitmaka revealed it will include features from Chris Brown and PARTYNEXTDOOR.

Hitmaka goes on to say that ‘MihTy’ should be released around NBA All-Star weekend on possibly February 18th and that it will be loaded with 21 songs.

Jeremih & Chance The Rapper Unwrap Their Joint Christmas Project [STREAM]

Chance The Rapper is drifting to Chance The Wrapper this holiday season, as he and fellow Chicago artist, Jeremih gift fans with their collaborative Christmas project, ‘Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama: Re-Wrapped’.

The holiday mixtape includes 19-tracks of pure holiday joy and excitement, as Jeremih and Chance go back-and-forth. There are no features on the project and production is handled by a mixture of Bongo ByTheWay, Zaytoven, Noname, Hannibal Burress, and King Louie.

Last year the duo did the same thing with their ‘Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama’ tape. This one includes the original nine tracks with 10 new tracks added to get you really ready for Christmas and bring out that holiday spirit in you.

New Music: London On Da Track – “Whatever You On” Feat. Young Thug, Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih & YG [LISTEN]

Still on fire from his collaboration with Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, and Offset on “No Flag,” London On Da Track returns with the star-studded “Whatever You On” featuring Young Thug, Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, and YG.

The single was accompanied by the DAPS-directed visual, which finds the collaborators throwing a party in an office after having a board meeting.

New Music: 50 Cent – “Still Think I’m Nothing” Feat. Jeremih [LISTEN]

It’s unknown if 50 Cent will ever release his ‘Street King Immortal’  album anytime soon, with his new position at BET consuming so much of his time. However, it is quite evident that he’s still found time to hit the studio to create, as he dropped a new track called “Still Think I’m Nothing” featuring Jeremih.

The single had been previously teased on 50’s Instagram account, but there was no word on when it would be put out. Tonight the living legend let it go and it definitely sounds like it should be a radio add in the coming weeks.

New Music: The Game – “Oh I” Feat. Jeremih, Young Thug & Sevyn Streeter [LISTEN]

We haven’t heard from The Game in a minute, as the Compton rapper has been on a bit of a hiatus. In correlation with “#ThrowBackThursday,” Chuck unleashes his 90’s-inspired single, “Oh I” featuring a talented cast consisting of Jeremih, Young Thug, and Sevyn Streeter.

The Bongo the Drum Gahd-produced track was premiered this morning on Power 106’s “The Cruz Show” and samples Foxy Brown’s 1996 ‘Ill Nana’ single, “Get Me Home.” Jeremih draws inspiration from the original Blackstreet hook, while Game and Thugger spit thuggish bars and Sevyn harmonizes.

As of now it is not known where this single will end up, but it could end of being the first single of Game’s forthcoming ‘West Side Story’ album.

New Video: Ty Dolla $ign – “Dawsin’s Breek” Feat. Jeremih [WATCH]

This month Ty Dolla $ign will release his forthcoming ‘Beach House 3’ album, which will include the Jeremih-assisted “Dawsin’s Breek.”

Ahead of that, Ty shares the Ryan Hope-directed clip, which begins in true ‘Beach House’ series fashion, as Dolla $ign hangs at the beach with the waves crashing. Ty then hits the strip club, where he throws money at strippers. Eventually the Taylor Gang crooner suffers from a bad trip and strippers turn to ghoulish demons.

Aside from “Dawsin’s Breek,” ‘Beach House 3’ will also include previously released single “Love You Better” and “Message in a Bottle.” It will be released October 27th.

Having recently secured a new album after saying a few years ago they wouldn’t be reuniting, The Cool Kids feed the industry with the first single off the album, “9:15 PM” featuring fellow Chicago native, Jeremih.

A new album from The Cool Kids is a complete win for hip hop. I’ve personally been waiting for Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks to reconvene and with ‘Special Edition Grandmaster Deluxe’ set to be released September 15th, shit is back in order.

New Video: Justine Sky – “Back For More” Feat. Jeremih [WATCH]

Once again Justine Sky is “Back For More.” About a week after releasing her new single “Back For More,” Ms. Sky shares the Grizz Lee-directed visuals for the intimate single. Singer-turned-“Power” actor, Rotimi plays her lover in the video as well.

“Back For More” is a sign of things to come for Justine. She is currently working on her new project, which will be released through Roc Nation and Republic Records. She is also working on her first acting role on a upcoming film called “Green Dolphin.” She said Rotimi helped her with her actin role as well.

“We started just days before I was scheduled to start filming my first acting role in ‘Green Dolphin’ so he also gave me great advice and definitely made me feel a bit more comfortable about what to expect for when I started filming the movie,” she said.
