Jeezy Announces His Next Album & Retirement [PEEP]

After about sixteen years in the rap game Jeezy is hanging it up and ending his illustrious career as a rapper. The Atlanta spitter came in the game as Young Jeezy and dropped his Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101′ in 2005.

Jizzle went on to release another nine albums throughout the years, while winning two BET Awards, earning four GRAMMY nominations, and two American Music Awards noms. He’s also had several Billboard charting hits.

Before calling it quits, Jeezy intends to release his final album Thug Motivation 104: Trust the Process’, expected to be released sometime this year.

The news of his retirement and final album was announced on his Twitter account after a “Cold Summer Tour” stop, where he said he was “inspired” seeing all his fans since his first album and “class TM 101 come out every night.” He continued by writing, “Now class is coming to a end. It’s time for Graduation! My Last Album & Final Class: TM104.”

His success has surpassed rapping and hip-hop as he had several business ventures like stakes in Tequila Avion. In January he and business partner Ken Austin sold their stakes but will remain involved with the brand and incentivized through 2020.

Cheers, Jizzle.

New Music: Blac Youngsta – “Booty (Remix)” Feat. Chris Brown, Jeezy & Trey Songz [LISTEN]

Anyone that wasn’t messing with Blac Youngsta has definitely had their mind swayed with the rapper’s thumping “Booty” single. The track has garnered a lot of attention and the Memphis rapper looks to take it to another level by grabbing Chris Brown, Jeezy, and Trey Songz for the remix.

Chris Brown, Jeezy, and Trey Songz is definitley the right ingredient to add a nice contrast to the friendly melody. Jeezy comes out with some strip club-provoking lyrics, while Breezy chips in with smooth vocals and channels his inner Busta Rhymes with a “Look At Me Now” flow. “Mr. Steal Yo Girl,” comes in smooth reminding us of his alter ego Trigga and drops some bars.

Who’s Dropping: New Releases In December [PEEP]

With December in full effect, the year is quickly dwindling down. The fourth quarter has came and while many artists have made a push to leave their mark on 2017 with releases earlier in the year, other artists have waited to the end. Projects that have been rumored are finally coming to fruition and artists that have remained mum are finally ready to share their latest body of work.

The majority of the year has been filled with speculation and rumors of a new Eminem album, which we will finally get this month. N*E*R*D also made headlines in early November when they performed their entire new album at ComplexCon. While many expected the group to drop immediately after the performance, they kept fans waiting. Others like G-Eazy and Jeezy have taken their time to perfect their latest offering which will be released on the same day as Em and N*E*R*D.

December is a month for many that brings gifts and if you are a fan of the culture, you will definitely be blessed with plenty of gifts, in the form of new music.

See everyone dropping a new project this month to end the year on a high.

So far G-Eazy hasn’t missed with any single he’s shared off his forthcoming ‘The Beautiful & Damned’ album. “No Limit” featuring A$AP Rocky and Cardi B continues to rise on the Billboard charts and is dominating clubs and radio.
