New Video: Big Sean – “Halfway Off The Balcony” [WATCH]

On the same day he dropped his fourth studio album, ‘I Decided.’, Big Sean also drops the video for his single “Halfway Off the Balcony” off the album.

The Andy Hines-directed video shares the same neon-colored light theme that the album cover and the “Bounce Back” video feature. This video also highlights what Sean said the album signifies, which is maturity. Sean discussed some of this sentiment during his appearance on “The Tonight Show.”

“The story of the album is, imagine going through life and you’ve made all the wrong decisions your whole life. You get to the end of your life and you say, ‘God, I did everything wrong. I didn’t work it out with the love of my life. I messed up with my parents. I’m not doing the job I was sent here for. Imagine something happens and you get one chance to redo it all. The album is basically a chance, to have that wisdom of an old man while you’re young, and going through life to figure it out,” he said on “The Tonight Show”.

Big Sean has been one of the most celebrated rappers since the release of his last album ‘Dark Sky Paradise’. The G.O.O.D. Music emcee is looking to continue his dominance with his fourth studio album ‘I Decided’.

Sean Don bangs out with 14 tracks and contributions from Rap God, Eminem on “No Favors,” his wifey, Jhene Aiko on “Same Time, Pt. 1,” Jeremih on “Light,” The Dream on “Sunday Morning Jetpack,” Migos on “Sacrifices,” and Starrah and the Flint Chozen Choir on “Bigger Than Me.”

According to Sean, he recorded the majority of the album in a make-shift studio on a tour bus while touring in Europe. The album is of extra importance for him because it’s supposed to show his maturity and wisdom through the journey of making music.

“The album is basically a chance, to have that wisdom of an old man while you’re young, and going through life to figure it out,” he said on “The Tonight Show.”

Big Sean brought the “Moves” to “Ellen” as he made his debut on the show and performed his newest single surrounded by elderly people holding cash, drinks, and popping bottles.

The elderly group showed off some of their moves as well while they celebrated life, while Sean ran through the track and displayed great energy.

It’s quite ironic Sean Don had elderly people rocking the stage with him after he shared on “The Tonight Show” that his upcoming album ‘I Decided’ is based on an older version of himself.

“The album is basically a chance, to have that wisdom of an old man while you’re young, and going through life to figure it out,” he said on “The Tonight Show.”

The Detroit player will drop his forthcoming album ‘I Decided’ on all platforms this Friday. The album will include contributions from Twenty88 (a.k.a. himself and Jhene Aiko), Migos, Jeremih, The Dream, and fellow D-Town player, Eminem.
