Future Makes History By Earning Back-To-Back No. 1 Debuts [PEEP]

future-gucci

It’s been quite a winning streak for Future, who has done the unprecedented by having back-to-back No. 1 debuts on the Billboard 200 albums chart, with both ‘Future’ and ‘HNDRXX’, respectively. The feat puts the rapper in the history books making him the first artist ever to do so.

His self-titled ‘Future’ album gave the Atlanta rapper his fourth No. 1 album by selling 140,000 equivalent album units (60,000 traditional). The following week ‘HNDRXX’, gave Future his fifth No. 1 album with 121,000 equivalent album units (48,000 traditional). Both albums currently hold the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the chart.

Prince was the last artist to have two albums in the top two spots on the chart simultaneously with ‘Purple Rain’ and ‘The Very Best of Prince’, following his death. Nelly had No. 1 and No. 2 debuts back in 2004 for ‘Suit’ and ‘Sweat’, but didn’t earn No. 1s for both.

Aside from making history, the back-to-back No. 1 album placements give Future 5 consecutive No. 1 albums. The rapper went on Twitter to make the announcement and also to thank fans for the achievement.

Congratulations, Future! Keep making that great music for the culture! You truly are one of the greatest artist of this generation. Well deserved.

New Music: Zoey Dollaz – “YaYaYa” Feat. Future & Koly P [LISTEN]

yayaya

Future didn’t have to drop a third consecutive album this week to stay on fire. Instead the rapper collaborates with fellow FreeBandz members, Zoey Dollaz and Koly P for the street ballad “YAYAYA.”

Throughout the track the focus is money, as the trio talk about their sacrifices, hardwork, and loyalty in a mission to stay rich forever. On the chorus Hndrxx boasts by singing, “I pray we rich forever, Zoey, YAYAYA / We gon’ fuck these bitches together, Zoey, YAYAYA / Money inside the walls now, YAYAYA.”

The new single will be featured on Zoey Dollaz’s forthcoming ‘Nobody’s Safe’ mixtape, which is also the name of Future’s upcoming, star-studded tour. As for Hndrxx, he is looking to become the first artist in history with back-to-back No. 1 album debuts. The official numbers come out tomorrow for ‘Hndrxx’, but being that it is a more radio-friendly album, it’s looking like the rapper will certainly accomplish the unprecedented.

Future Performs “Incredible” On “The Ellen Show” [WATCH]

future-ellen

With two album releases last month, Future continues his dominance with a daytime performance of his spirited single “Incredible” on “The Ellen Show.”

Rocking a Jimi Hendrix hoodie, Future Hndrxx delivered an energetic performance along with DJ Esco, Zaytoven, and his live band. The FreeBandz general even paid homage to Ellen, as he tweaked one of his lyrics to say, “girl you got me feeling like Ellen / I’m the man.”

“Incredible” is off the ‘HNDRXX’ album, that followed ‘Future’, a week after its release. With two releases in as many weeks, Future is projected to do the unprecedented, by being the first artist ever to have back-to-back No. 1 debuts. ‘HNDRXX’ will have an estimated 110,000 to 130,00 units.

Watch the performance of “Incredible” below.

Earlier this week Future was seen on Nicki Minaj’s Instagram at a secret location as they shoot a video.

New Album: Future – ‘HNDRXX’ [STREAM]

future-hndrxx

Destined to top the Billboard charts with two No. 1 albums in as many weeks, Future drops ‘Hndrxx’, the follow up to last week’s ‘Future’ release.

Last week’s ‘Future’ release is well on its way to top the Billboard 200 chart with 145,000-155,000 units in its first week. With the success of ‘Hndrxx’, Future figures to accomplish an unprecedented feat of two No. 1 albums in consecutive weeks.

‘Hndrxx’ is a more personal, radio-friendly album than ‘Future’ and boasts features from The Weeknd on “Comin Out Strong” and Rihanna on “Selfish”. Loaded with 17 tracks, ‘Hndrxx’ also includes production from DJ Mustard and Future’s frequent collaborator, Metro Boomin’.

It’s worth noting that every Future album from 2015 forward has reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts. Safe to say Future will continue his winning streak.

The release of back-to-back albums was said to be a response to settling with Rocko, who sued Future for $10-million. A few weeks back a court ruling stated that Future would have to give Rocko 50-percent of the royalties for his next two albums. Future denied the claims and went on to call Rocko a “con man.”

Future Reveals Artwork & Track List For ‘Hndrxx’ [PEEP]

600x600bb-1

Future confirmed he will be releasing another album this Friday during his #AskFuture Twitter Q&A yesterday afternoon. The now confirmed ‘Hndrxx’ album will be his second to release in consecutive weeks.

The rapper posted the full tracklist for ‘Hndrxx’, which contains a total of 17 tracks and contributions from The Weeknd on “Comin Out Strong” and Rihanna on “Selfish.”

‘Hndrxx’ was originally reported by HITS Daily Double, who reported the then rumored album was going to be “more rhythmic-leaning and radio-friendly” than the self-titled album that dropped last week. With both The Weeknd and Rihanna features, that notion is definitely confirmed.

With the kind of star power this album will posses, I definitely see Future nabbing No. 1 album spots for two different albums in as many weeks. Something that is unprecedented.

Belly continues to rollout videos for singles off his 2016 ‘InZombia’ mixtape. The latest single to get the video treatment off the tape is “Frozen Water” featuring Future.

In the video directed by Rollo Jackson, Belly and Future rap about drugs as they trap out of a motel. You’ll also see plenty of smoke, mysterious images, and models swimming in heels.

Belly is currently on the “Rubba Band Business Tour” with Juicy J until March 18th. After that tour he’ll hit the road with The Weeknd, Rae Sremmurd, and 6lack for the start of the “Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour,” beginning April 25th in Vancouver.

New Video: Future – “Draco” [WATCH]

future-draco-video

Future makes the “You ain’t ever, ever get your bitch back,” a reality in the video for “Draco,” as he snatches a couple of dude’s girlfriends and turns them into lethal killers.

The video makes the song come alive as Future turns the women into femme fatal, Draco-packing assassins, who carry out hits for the rapper. The women work for Future and bring back all the cash to the FreeBandz boss.

In an interview with Beats1, Future shared the inspiration behind the single saying, “All the Dracos that was in the building, that’s what I was trying to capture, without them going off. That energy. That’s what I was capturing, the Dracos that was around.”

“Draco” is the first single off Future’s self-titled album ‘Future’, that was released last week. The rapper will drop ‘Hndrxx’ this Friday as he attempts to capture an unprecedented 2 No. 1 albums in as many weeks.

Following the official announcement of his second album in as many weeks, Future made an appearance on “The Tonight Show” last night to perform “Draco,” the first single off the self-titled ‘Future’ album.

Prior to hitting the stage, the rockstar was introduced by Jimmy Fallon as “the biggest of the bigs,” before rocking the stage with his sidekick, DJ Esco, who provided great background hype per usual. Future sported sunglasses and a yellow hoody that read, “Real Eyes. Realize. Real Lies.”

Future will follow up last week’s album release with another album titled ‘Hendrxx’ dropping this Friday.

Future May Be Dropping Another Album This Week [PEEP]

Screen Shot 2017-02-21 at 5.35.42 PM

Future is rumored to be dropping a new album this Friday, making it his second in as many weeks. No title, tracklist, or cover art has been unveiled as of yet.

The self-titled ‘Future’ is already projected to debut at No. 1, so if his rumored second album would do the same on the Billboard charts, we would see something historic and unprecedented. We know Future has the capability to put up such numbers and is on winning streak.

According to HITS Daily Double, the rumored album is supposed to be “more rhythmic-leaning and radio-friendly” than the self-titled album, which was dominated by trap tracks like “Draco,” “Mask Off,” “Rent Money,” “Good Dope,” and “Super Trapper.”

During a Q&A session today with fans called #AskFuture, the rapper seemed to confirm the reports going around about the supposed album. Of course the point of getting former ally, Rocko off his back was brought up as the reason to drop another album, but Future shut that down by saying, “No way in the fuck am I doing that for him.”

See more on the topic below.

All signs seem to point to a new Future album this week, so strap up and get ready for new music. It’s all exciting for whoever has purchased tickets to his “Nobody Safe Tour,” as it is apparent he will perform a lot of new material.

With his latest album out now, Future drops the visuals for “Super Trapper” off the self-titled album, which is expected to debut at No. 1.

In the video Future takes viewers into the house of a “Super Trapper.” The exquisite pad is filled with sexy models, foreign whips, money stacks, smoke, and a shark tank.

Future will kick off his “Nobody Safe Tour” with Migos, Tory Lanez, and Kodak Black on May 4th in Memphis. In the meantime expect the FreeBandz rapper to continue to drop videos for different singles off his recently-released album.

Future Drops Solo Version Of “Grammys” [LISTEN]

11821179_1478243319145837_1005748270_n

On the debut of Beats1’s “FreeBandz Gang Radio,” Future dropped a solo-version of Drake’s single “Grammys,” which was featured on ‘Views’.

The solo version includes an additional verse from Future with Drake’s verse being flushed out. There is also some small alterations to the instrumental.

This should come as no surprise, as Future just dropped his self-titled album that includes no features. Interestingly enough, at the start of the year Future sent out a series of tweets alluding that 2017 it would be him against the everyone else.

Future will kick off his “Nobody Safe Tour” with Migos, Tory Lanez, and Kodak Black beginning May 4th in Memphis. A$AP Ferg and Young Thug will also perform at select dates. Get more info HERE.

New Album: Future – ‘Future’ [STREAM]

future-album

Earlier this week Future surprised fans by announcing he was dropping his self-titled album, ‘Future’. With no radio promo, debut single, or planning, the Atlanta rapper drops the album which contains 17 tracks.

The album contains no features and according to Future, it is a reflection of the person he is today.

“I want to be able to speak on how I’m living now, more so,” he said. “I want to be authentic to what I am now, true to what I am, to be able to tell you, to get you from where you’re at, to get to where I am now, to this position…It’s like a fresh start.”

The same day the rapper announced the release date for his 5th studio album on Instagram, he also shared a lengthy post asking for forgiveness and self-reflecting on his mistakes and what he’s done. It’s safe to say this album is somewhat of a cleansing for Future.

‘Future’ is his first album dropped under EPIC Records in a joint collaboration with A1 and FreeBandz. It follows last year’s releases ‘Purple Reign’ and ‘EVOL’.

Next up for Future is his headlining “Nobody Safe Tour” with Migos, Tory Lanez, Kodak Black and A$AP Ferg and Young Thug on select dates. The tour begins May 4th in Memphis.
