If you’re sleeping on established West Coast veterans Dom Kennedy and Casey Veggies, take their advice and “Stop Playin.”

YG & Dom Kennedy Reflect On Nipsey Hussle [PEEP]

Nipsey Hussle’s passing has hit a lot of folks hard and effected many. Dom Kennedy and YG were some of Nip’s frequent collaborators but also real homies outside of this rap shit.

Dom and YG took some time off social media following his death but shared some words for the late, great Slauson Boy on Instagram.

Dom, who broke into the industry with Nipsey was also from South Central L.A. where Nip spent most of his time. They collaborated on numerous songs like “Checc Me Out,” “Don’t Forget About Us,” “I Need That,” “Pleeze,” and most recently “Double Up” off Nip’s ‘Victory Lap’.

“Yesterday we lost everything. My brother knew how GREAT he was. It was a honor to have served with you KING. I’m so sad Nip I don’t know what I’m gonna do. I’m sorry that the people didn’t realize how valuable you were 2 us while u were still here. Thank u 4 being a great friend all the time. I’m happy u got 2 grow and become a man. One who lived with no fear or hate towards anyone. The city loves you Nip and we will FOREVER miss u. #CRENSHAW#NipHusslethegreat,” wrote Dom on an IG post.

Like Dom, YG was rising to success in the rap game with Nipsey. They collaborated on numerous joints and YG shared they were working on a collaborative album entitled ‘2 OF AMERIKKKAZ MOST WANTED’.

“Lost for words kuz i got so many of em 😢💙😔

YG also announced he had plans to release a surprise album next Friday, April 12th ahead of his Coachella performance but has decided to push it back to May in respect to Nip.

Prayers up for Nipsey, Dom, YG, family, and friends of the late HUSSLE THE GR8.

New Video: Nipsey Hussle – “Double Up” Feat. Dom Kennedy & Belly [WATCH]

Nipsey Hussle made a lot of noise with his ‘Victory Lap’ album and has followed that with some impressive videos for singles off the LP. The latest to get the video treatment is my favorite song on the album, “Double Up” featuring Dom Kennedy and Belly.

Directed by Sergio, the cinematic 11-minute video takes place in 2007 before all of Nip’s major success. A younger Nip starts the video bagging weed with his aspiring apprentice, which is played by his girl, Lauren London. After a brief run-in with the law, Lauren decides she doesn’t wanna live the street life and links with Nip 10-years-later.

Their next meeting finds Lauren married to a perspective buyer of Nip’s hustle. The pair rekindles shortly after at Nipsey’s pool party, where Dom and Belly appear with a collection of women around them.
