THE DRAKE VOCALS ARE IN!

DJ Khaled has shared several keys on his SnapChat regarding upcoming collaborations. One of the most teased collabs is his and Drake’s “To the Max.” Using his character, Khaled teased the new Drizzy collaboration over SnapChat by simply asking if the Drizzy vocals were in.

The vocals are officially in with Billi (Khaled) and Champagne P. providing more chune for ya head top. Last year the duo took over the summer with For Free” off Khaled’s ‘Major Key’ album, and with “To the Max” they are looking to stay consistent.

In the past the duo has also collaborated on “I’m On One,” “No New Friends,” “Fed Up,” “All I Do Is Win (Remix),” and others. The rapport Khaled and The 6 God have built always shows in the music they make. The sound is consistently fluid and solid.

Look for this one to be on top of the charts and potentially be his third No. 1 off his upcoming ‘Grateful’  album, with both “Shining” and “I’m the One” reaching the top spot. ‘Shining’ will be executive produced by his infant son, Asaad, who graced the single’s cover art and album cover.

Khaled also shared the release date for ‘Grateful’. The artwork shows Khaled’s appreciation for his son on the cover, with baby Aasad relaxing in a lavish pool. In addition, Khaled announced the release date of June 23rd.

Another one.

DJ Khaled blesses fans with his new single “I’m the One,” accompanied with a video. The song is a collaboration with some of the industry’s heaviest hitters in Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne, and Quavo.

The Eif Rivera-directed video had been teased earlier this year and Khaled dropped an official trailer yesterday, adding extra commotion.

In the video Khaled and friends find themselves at a lavish estate, where they host a pool party with a flock of beautiful women, pop bottles of Belaire Luxe and Ciroc Summer Colada. The group of friends are also shown smoking, playing croquet, and dancing around. In the beginning Khaled’s son, Ashad makes a cameo, sitting in a chair that says, Executive Producer.

“I’m the One” follows DJ Khaled’s “Shining” collaboration with Jay-Z and Beyoncé, which has already gone No. 1. The producer has already promised his new single will have the same success. Both singles will be on Khaled’s forthcoming ‘Grateful’ album, follow-up to last year’s ‘Major Key’. ‘Grateful’ is set to include other features from Drake, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Nas, Travis Scott, and pretty much the biggest in the game.

New Music: Nas – “Angel Dust” [LISTEN]

Screen Shot 2017-04-11 at 6.16.04 PM

Nas kicks raps about the “Angel Dust” epidemic in the 70’s and 80’s on his new track off his executive produced-show, “The Get Down” on Netflix. The single is the intro song to the third episode of season 2 of the show, and samples Gil Scott-Heron and Brian Jackson’s “Angel Dust”.

“The sidewalk was my brother’s office / We cut our losses, I had choices / I took a pen, became a voice for the voiceless / My people walking in a zombie state / Life is short, even mine’s at stake,” raps Nas over the soulful instrumental.

Aside from working on “The Get Down,” Esco is also working on “Street Dreams,” a BET series about his life. He also said his next album was done on last year’s “Nas Album Done” collaboration with Khaled. Khaled has also been teasing Nas’ vocals are in for his next album, meaning more Nas music “soon come.”
