Benny Cassette & Chuck Inglish – Angel Dust (EP)

Chuck Inglish and Benny Cassette met once upon a time at their Jewish jeweler’s wedding (cool fact, in case you were itching to know), vibed and decided to work on some new music together. Blending hip-hop, soul, rock and pop, the two crafted “Angel Dust,” an EP produced by Chuck with assistance from Benny and performed by Benny with features from Chuck. If you’re looking for something different to bless your ears with definitely check out Benny Cassette’s tape with one of my personal favorite producers, Chuck Inglish. Chuck’s also dropping his solo debut album, Convertibles, soon so be on the lookout for that.

Chuck Inglish and Boldy James hit the studio to record for J Dilla’s upcoming album Rebirth Of Detroit, due May 25th.

“What I love about [Chuck Inglish] is that he’s from the city of Detroit, he’s got the lineage of the city from the past but he’s also been creative enough to carry it on in a positive way worldwide,” said Taylor, co-executive producer of the project. “We’re proud to have him on the Rebirth of Detroit for Ms. Yancey and it’s a great day here.”

LP: Chuck Inglish – WRKING (Instrumentals)

Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids released a beat tape that will and should be in every upcoming rappers’ iTunes. If you can’t rap (like me) and just enjoy listening to music, then I’m sure it will be a smooth listen. Chuck’s beats are always fresh.
